We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Monday, including action from college basketball, the NHL, and NBA.

One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +879 with DraftKings Sportsbook — that’s almost 9/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: Los Angeles Kings vs New York Rangers ML (-160), 7:00 pm ET

The Rangers have won 4 of their last 5 games, and their offense has been cruising. New York has scored 3 goals or more in each of their last 5 games, and they are coming off a game in which they scored 7 goals. Adam Fox, Artemi Panarin, and Chris Kreider are all averaging a point per game or better, while Kreider has an impressive 29 goals in 42 games.

The blue shirts have also benefited from tremendous goaltending from Igor Shesterkin. He is slated to be between the pipes in this one, and he should be able to hold down the fort. On the year, Shesterkin is 19-4-2 with a strong .936 save percentage and 2.08 GAA. Look for the Rangers to take care of business against a tired Kings team.

NHL: Dallas Stars ML (-145) vs Philadelphia Flyers, 7:05 pm ET

Offensively, both teams are below average, but a small edge goes to the Stars. The Flyers rank in the bottom 7 in expected goals, goals scored and goals per game.  The Stars rank around average in expected goals, but don’t convert on that pressure as they rank just below average in goals per game.

Defensively, the Stars have the advantage based on how strong their team defense is. Both the Flyers and Stars rank in the bottom 12 in goals against per game, but the Stars are much better at not allowing offensive pressure. They rank 10th in expected goals against whereas the Flyers are last. The Flyers have been playing too badly to have any confidence in them, so take the Stars money line.

College Basketball: Virginia Tech Hokies vs North Carolina Tar Heels -5 (-115), 8:00 pm ET

The Tar Heels were just swept on a 2-game road trip against Miami and Wake Forest and defense has been an issue for the Tar Heels. However their offense has carried them for the most part, with 4 different players averaging double-digit scoring numbers, and they rank 50th in scoring offense, averaging 77.9 points per game. North Carolina ranks 1st in the ACC in rebounds per game with 40.7, and the Hokies have struggled to rebound on both ends of the court. North Carolina is 4-0 against the spread in the last 4 meetings with the Hokies. Take them to comfortably make it 5-0.

NBA: Utah Jazz vs Phoenix Suns – Under 221 points (-110), 9:10 pm ET

The Suns are averaging 114.3 ppg on 48.7% shooting from the field and 25.8% shooting from three in their last 3 games while the Jazz are scoring 112.9 ppg on 47.2% shooting from the field and 35.8% shooting from downtown on the road. Both teams rank in the top 3 of the NBA in points, top 3 in field-goal percentage, and top 10 in 3-point percentage.

Of the teams’ last 10 meetings, 8 went under tonight’s total, and the absence of key players from both teams has significantly limited their offenses. Take the under in tonight’s Western Conference matchup.
