We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including action from college basketball, the NHL, and NBA.

One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +883 with DraftKings Sportsbook — that’s more than 8/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins ML (-220) vs Columbus Blue Jackets, 7:05 pm ET

Both of these teams are playing on the second half of a back-to-back, but the Penguins could have the edge in net. Top netminder Triston Jarry got the start last night, but he has started in back-to-backs a few times this season. If he gets the nod, it would be a big boost for Pittsburgh. On the year, Jarry is posting a strong .928 save percentage and 2.08 GAA. Even if Jarry does not go, the Pittsburgh offense should continue to hum against Joonas Korpisalo. He has struggled this season, posting a less than stellar .882 save percentage to go along with a 3.95 GAA. With the way the Penguins are scoring right now, they should be able to put up enough goals to pick up another win.

NBA: Miami Heat ML (+105) vs Atlanta Hawks, 7:40 pm ET

Wins over Milwaukee and Minnesota were confidence-boosters, but the Hawks had dropped 10 in a row at home before they beat the Bucks. They are 2-5 against the spread over their last 7 overall and against Southwest Division teams they’ve gone 1-4 SU in their last 5. These teams just played each other twice a week ago and Miami won both of those games fairly easily. I see no reason not to back them tonight as well. They’ve been on a roll while the Hawks have struggled tremendously at home. Take the Heat to win on the road.

College Basketball: Michigan State Spartans vs Wisconsin Badgers -3.5 (-105), 9:00 pm ET

From a matchup perspective, Michigan State’s offense has been thriving due to 3-point shooting, where the Spartans rank 9th in percentage. However Wisconsin’s defense is very good at taking away the 3-point line, ranking 69th in the country in limiting 3-point attempts. Wisconsin’s goal is not really to force turnovers, but Michigan State has been sloppy enough with the ball to make consistent efficient offense hard to come by. The Spartans have the highest turnover rate in Big Ten play, while Wisconsin ranks 2nd in the country in protecting the ball. Chances are this will have a major impact on the outcome of this game, so look for the Badgers to cover the spread.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning – 3-Way ML (-145) vs Anaheim Ducks, 10:05 pm ET

The Lightning come in red hot after winning 6 of their last 7 games. The Ducks are struggling, losing 5 of their last 6 games and being shut out in their last 2 contests. Offensively, the edge goes to the Lightning. The Ducks have scored only 8 goals in their last 5 games, whereas the Lightning have scored 21. The offensive gap widens when you look at goals per game, with the Lightning 7th and the Ducks 20th.  Defensively, the advantage goes to the Lightning as well. In the Ducks’ 4-game losing streak, they’ve allowed 16 goals while the Lighting have given up only 8 in their last 4 games. Take Tampa Bay on the 3-way money line.
