We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including action from college basketball, the NBA, and NHL.
One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1429 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s break down each of these plays.
College basketball: Richmond Spiders +4 (-110) vs St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 7:00 pm ET
St. Bonaventure is currently 11-5 in the Atlantic 10 and is 19-8 overall. With 5 senior starters coming back, the Bonnies were ranked in the preseason top 25 AP poll but have completely disappointed. I simply cannot back the Bonnies in this game at the moment when Osun Osunniyi is questionable to play. Richmond took care of St. Bonaventure back on February 4, winning 71-61. The Spiders shot a great percentage from beyond the arc and I expect the same in this one. St. Bonaventure ranks in the 200s in guarding 3s, so Richmond should be able to shoot well from deep again. A -4 point spread is too much to lay for St. Bonaventure. Take the Spiders.

NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins ML (+115) vs Carolina Hurricanes, 7:00 pm ET
The advantage Pittsburgh has in this game is on the offensive end of the ice, where Sidney Crosby and the rest of the forward group are buzzing. The Penguins rank near the top of the league in offensive output and not only are their stars such as Crosby and Evgeni Malkin contributing at a high level, but their depth is also playing a key factor. As dominant as Carolina has been at home this season, the Penguins are in much better form right now and have all the momentum heading into this game. Look for the visitors to pick up the road victory.

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls – Under 240.5 points (-110), 7:40 pm ET
Despite both teams being involved in some high scoring games lately, I’m leaning towards going the under tonight as the projected total of 240.5 point total seems a bit excessive. The game played in Milwaukee earlier this season finished 94-90 to the Bucks and 240 points haven’t been scored in a game between these 2 teams since the 2007-08 season. The last 10 meetings have averaged 216.5 points per game and the total has gone under in 7 of them. Chicago has trended towards the under a lot lately with 5 of their last 7 games cashing on that bet. With 4 of the 5 most recent meetings between these 2 finishing under, I think that’s the way to go tonight, as well.

NHL: Dallas Stars ML (-110) vs Winnipeg Jets, 8:00 pm ET
The Stars are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games and they appear ready to make a run. They are just 2 seasons removed from getting to the Stanley Cup Finals and they know their window is still open — just probably not as wide. If they are going to make another playoff run, Dallas must win these types of games. In head-to-head matchups this season the Stars have outscored and outshot the Jets. They enter this game in better form, having gone 5-1-1 in their last 7 with wins over Los Angeles and Colorado — who are also part of the playoff picture. Dallas should show up ready to go and continue to ascend in the standings.
