Friday is finally here and we’ve got a great night of betting action to get excited for, with the spotlight on the NBA and college basketball. Having plenty of hardwood games to attack means we can craft a cross-sport parlay, especially after we cashed Wednesday’s parlay at 10/1 odds! I’ve taken two picks each from the NBA and NCAAB, and a winning ticket on those bad boys returns +1296 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook — almost 13/1!

Let’s break down each of these plays.

NCAAB: Richmond Spiders -3 (-120) over St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 7:00 pm ET

After a home loss to VCU, Richmond rebounded nicely with a 74-57 win over Duquesne on the road. The Spiders scored 1.21 ppp and shot 54.2% from the 3-point line in their winning effort, and led by as many as 22 points in the middle of the second half. Richmond is the 6th-most efficient offense in the conference and scores 74.7 ppg at home on 44.7% shooting

St. Bonaventure has lost 3 of its last 6 games and ranks 316th in Haslametric’s consistency metric. Playing on the road has not been kind to the Bonnies, as they are 1-3 against the spread with straight-up losses in 2 of their last 3. Their road struggles are due to them averaging only 64.2 ppg on 41.2% shooting, and they may not be able to match the scoring of Richmond.

NBA: Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Under 231.5 (-110), 7:10 pm ET

These teams have played each other 3 times already this season, and the average amount of points scored in those games was 206, with the under cashing in all 3 of them. We could see a similar scenario tonight with the projected total being set at a whopping 231.5 points, a number that was surpassed just twice in the last 11 head-to-head meetings.

When it comes to pace of play these teams rank 15th and 18th in the NBA, averaging 100.6 and 99.8 possessions per game. The Pacers have players who score more than 50 points per game between them out with injuries at the moment, and with the under landing 14 times in the last 17 meetings between these teams played in Indiana, backing the under is strongly advised.

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers ML (+106) over Dallas Mavericks, 10:10 pm ET

Dallas suffered 2 unexpected losses at Orlando and against Oklahoma City in their last 2 games. For a team that is battling for a top 4 position in the Western Conference standings, losing to the worst team in the East and the 2nd-worst team in the West is simply unacceptable. Luka Doncic did his best with a 34-point triple-double and a 40-point and 10-assist game, but sadly for him, his teammates didn’t follow him. Kristaps Porzingis missed both of those games and he remains out tonight with a knee injury. The Mavs have had major problems guarding the paint — in their last 3 games they’ve given up an average of 56 points down low, that is not something you want to see when facing the best center in basketball. I expect Embiid to have his way down low and carry the 76ers to an important road win.

NCAAB: Fresno State Bulldogs -9 (-110) over Nevada Wolfpack, 11:00 pm ET

There’s a lot working against Nevada in this spot, making Fresno State the recommended side to play. At first glance, this line appears extremely high considering that Nevada closed as a 2-point favorite at home just 2 weeks ago. Nevada won the game, so you’d think that the rematch would be roughly Fresno State -7 or so now that they are at home. However, Nevada is battling some extremely significant injuries. Warren Washington has missed the last 2 games for the Wolfpack, and leading scorer Grant Sherfield missed their most recent game.

Not factoring in lineup concerns, the matchup is also extremely palatable for Fresno’s State’s Orlando Robinson. Robinson has been one of the best players in the country this season, particularly on the low block. Per Synergy, Robinson ranks 20th among all Division I players in points per possession scored on post-ups this season with a minimum of 100 possessions. This is extremely alarming for Nevada, as the Wolfpack grade in just the 6th percentile in post-up defense. Look for Fresno State to exact revenge in a major way.
