We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday night including action from College Football, and MLB Playoffs.
Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1234 with DraftKings; that’s more than 12/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
MLB: Chicago White Sox vs Houston Astros ML (-120), 2:07pm ET
Yesterday, the Astros made a statement with a commanding 6-1 victory in Game 1. In Game 2, the White Sox will send Lucas Giolito to the mound as they look to pull even in the series. Through 31 turns in the rotation in 2021, Giolito delivered a 3.53 ERA, 3.29 xERA, and a 3.79 FIP. As a pitcher who throws predominantly a fastball, changeup, and a slider, Giolito could be in for trouble against a Houston lineup that sees all of those pitches exceptionally well.
Framber Valdez was excellent across 134.2 innings of work this year with a 3.14 ERA. The White Sox seemingly had the benefit of coasting into the playoffs after securing the American League Central division early in September. The Astros are battle-tested after years of recent postseason success. Look for Houston to take a decisive 2-0 series lead.

MLB: Atlanta Braves vs Milwaukee Brewers – Under 7 runs (-105), 4:37pm ET
This game could easily turn into a pitchers’ duel if both starters settle in early. Three of Charlie Morton’s last 4 starts have stayed under the total and those games have combined for an average of just 5 runs.
As for the Brewers’ offense, their batters have a .174 batting average with a .182 xBA in 120 plate appearances against Morton in their careers. The Milwaukee offense hit a lull at the end of the season and ranks 30th in batting average and 27th in OPS in the last 30 days, so until the offense shows any life the under is the way to go.

College Football: Temple Owls vs Cincinnati Bearcats -30 (-110), 7pm ET
There are big expectations for Cincinnati this season. Cincinnati’s defense is very good this year. It has allowed only 14.5 ppg and 309.3 yards per game. Temple has not yet played a defense this strong. The Owls have faced 3 decent teams this season in Rutgers, Boston College, and Memphis, winning only the latter and getting blown out by the others. Temple is an average team and Cincinnati is elite. Cincinnati is 4-1 against the spread and they can cover again this week. Look for the Bearcats to keep Temple off the scoreboard early and win this game with ease.

College Football: Stanford Cardinal vs Arizona State Sun Devils -13.5 (-105), 10:30pm ET
Stanford appears to have found a quarterback in Tanner McKee, but he leads a Cardinal offense that has been wildly inconsistent through the first 5 weeks of the season, often oscillating between effective and mediocre in the same game.
Stanford has been consistently inconsistent throughout the season, and the Cardinal ultimately got away with winning a game they probably shouldn’t have a week ago. Arizona State has found its form offensively and the Sun Devils should be buoyed by the home crowd tonight. Lay the points with Arizona State.
