We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including action from the NHL, NBA, and MLB. One pick is taken from each sport, with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1188 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.

NBA: Miami Heat -3 (-110) vs Philadelphia 76ers, 7:00 pm ET

Joel Embiid is doubtful for Game 3, which is a massive blow to the 76ers’ chances in this game. They lost the first 2 games by double-digit margins, and although they are playing at home, there’s not much they can hope for without their MVP candidate big man. Tyrese Maxey exploded for 34 points in Game 2 and Tobias Harris had 27 in the Game 1, but in order for the 76ers to have any chance of winning James Harden would need to score at least 30 and dish out 15 assists. Can he do it at this stage of his career? I don’t think so, since arriving in Philadelphia he is yet to have a game in which he’s taken 20 shots from the field.

If we go by history, this series is pretty much over as the 76ers are 0-13 all time when trailing 2-0 in a best-of-7 series. Without Embiid there’s simply no coming back against a well-oiled machine like Miami. Take the road team to cover.

NHL: Minnesota Wild vs St. Louis Blues ML (-125), 9:30 pm ET

The big advantage in this series is still the goaltending, which favors the Blues. Ville Husso has carried his excellent play from the regular season into the playoffs. Through 3 days of playoff action, Husso ranks 4th in goals saved above expected, while opposing netminder for the Wild — Marc-Andre Fleury — ranks 11th.

Also, St Louis now has home ice, where it went 26-10-5 in the regular season (including wins in both games they played against the Wild) and had a +41 goal differential. Look for the shift in venues to benefit the Blues and place your wager on the money line.

MLB: Colorado Rockies ML (+125) vs Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 pm ET

The Rockies come into the series, winners of 5 of their last 6 games, while not to be outdone, the Diamondback have also won 5 of their last 6, including a 3-game sweep of the Marlins earlier this week.

Offensively the advantage goes to the Rockies, as they rank 1st in team average and OPS while ranking 2nd in OBP. The Diamondbacks rank in the bottom 6 in those same offensive categories, including ranking last in team average. Look for the Rockies offense to carry them in the desert and place your bet on the Rockies money line.

NHL: Los Angeles Kings vs Edmonton Oilers ML (-150), 10:00 pm ET

The Kings want to play a more physical, low-scoring game that requires discipline and puck possession, which has been a successful strategy for them this season and got them into the playoffs. However, the Oilers’ fast-paced and threatening offense is tough to slow down, and despite a solid performance from LA in Game 1 the Oilers were able to quickly adjust and easily win Game 2.  Even though they hit the road for the next 2 games, the Oilers are hard to bet against at this price with the significant advantage on the offensive end, so take the road team to steal Game 3.
