We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday night including action from the MLB and College Football. Two picks are taken from MLB with two also coming from college football. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1008 with DraftKings; that’s more than 10/1!
Let’s break down all of these plays.
MLB: Milwaukee Brewers ML (-145) vs Cleveland Indians, 7:10pm ET
Adrian Houser is the Brewers’ 4th starter this season. He was brilliant in his last start, pitching a complete-game shutout. Houser can be very tough to hit, but gives up way too many free passes. That’s his weakness, especially since he does not strike out many batters.
Rookie righty Eli Morgan is coming off one of his best starts of the season, 5.2 shutout innings against Boston. Though, his home splits are a surprising disaster (1-5, 7.53 ERA). With first-place Milwaukee coming to town, that is hard to get behind. Milwaukee has a better record on the road than at home this season. With a major mound advantage, it’s a surprise we are paying such a low premium with the Brewers. Milwaukee is the easy play here.

College Football: Kansas Jayhawks vs Coastal Carolina Chanticleers -26.5 (-110), 7:30pm ET
Coastal Carolina’s offense proved they could take on good Power 5 teams last year when they beat #21 Louisiana Lafayette and #8 BYU, and Kansas is not even a good Power 5 team. In last year’s matchup against the Jayhawks the Chanticleers won 38-23, but this time their offense is good enough to score almost at will. Their offensive line looks solid and their quarterback is playing better than ever. Look for the Chanticleers to come out and score early and often against the Kansas defense and to contain the Kansas offense with ease.

College Football: North Carolina A&T Aggies vs Duke Blue Devils -21 (-110), 8pm ET
A 21-point spread is favorable for a Duke team coming off a tough loss and now facing an FCS opponent. With a playmaker such as Mataeo Durant running the show, look for him to have a big night and put a lot of points on the board. Keep in mind these teams met in 2019. Duke came away with a 45-13 win and it could be much the same on Friday night, especially considering North Carolina A&T didn’t field a team in 2020. There’s a lot working against them in this tough matchup.

MLB: Cincinnati Reds ML (-125) vs St. Louis Cardinals, 8:15pm ET
Tyler Mahle’s home stadium is Great American Ball Park, and it is one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in the league. He has not pitched well there, and he has been far more efficient on the road. The Cincinnati right-hander is 4-3 with a 6.09 ERA at home this season, but an impressive 7-2 with a 1.90 ERA on the road. Additionally, his BAA drops from .276 at home to .190 on the road.
This is a huge series in the National League Wild Card picture, and the Reds seem to have the advantage on the mound in the series opener. Their offense also presents more confidence than the Cardinals’ offense. Consider backing the Reds.
