Our Week 15 Sunday slate is slightly smaller than usual — only 11 games to choose from. Luckily, 6 of those games have O/Us of 45+ or more. These will be the games we target our TD scorers on, and if you were hoping for a TD in the Brett Rypien vs Colt McCoy showdown, you have come to the wrong place.
Let’s delve into the best anytime touchdown ccorers for Sunday.
Jalen Hurts (PHI) -120
The Bears give up the 3rd-most rushing TDs to opposing QBs this season. Hurts has scored in 4 of 6 road games and 4 of the last 5. It’s worth the chalk on this one. Add in Eagles ML to get to +120.
Isiah Pacheco (KC) -110
The Texans have given up a rushing TD to an opposing RB in 6 of the last 8 games. The spread is at -14.5, the largest of the weekend, and all signs point to KC blowing the doors off Houston. Houston ranks dead last in 2nd-level yardage, meaning they allow the most yardage on run plays, between 5-10 yards of the line of scrimmage. They also rank 28th in Open Field Yards, meaning they allow more yards to opposing RBs 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Pacheco should be in for a big day.
Dalton Schultz (DAL) +210
The Jaguars rank dead last in DVOA vs TEs. They have allowed a TD to an opposing TE in 3 of the last 4 games. Schultz has been quiet of late, but I’m expecting him to have a big day.
Drake London (ATL) +280
Ridder will be looking his way often Sunday. The matchup against CB Paulson Adebo is ideal and London is a big-bodied target in the red zone. I’m expecting a big day out of the Ridder/London duo. This is great value in my opinion.
Gerald Everett (LAC) +340
The Titans give up the 3rd-most TDs to opposing TEs. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams back in the lineup gives Everett a lot more freedom in the secondary and will is often an afterthought to DBs when they are forced to keep track of Allen/Williams. We have an O/U set at 46.5, so this is solid spot in a potential high-scoring affair.
Zach Wilson (NYJ) +600
The Lions give up the most rushing TDs in the NFL to opposing QBs and I think Wilson needs to do something to win back the team after being benched. If he throws his body out there attempting to reach the endzone, it will send a message to everyone in the locker room he’s willing to put himself out there for the team and the fanbase. It’s a longshot, but I love the value considering what is on the line for New York.
