A Saturday edition of our Anytime Touchdown Scorer article! We have a 3-game slate, and I will share my favorite TD scorers of the day, along with a degenerate parlay at the end to keep us at the edge of our seats. As always, I try to avoid any TD scorers that are heavily juiced and instead offer ones with a bit better value considering these are at a ~20% hit rate.
Devin Singletary (BUF) +170
Josh Allen would be the obvious answer here, but that’s usually when I run in the opposite direction. Singletary dipped below 10 carries last week against the Jets. Coincidently, the last time he went below double-digits carries was earlier in the season against the Jets and I’m going to chalk that up to how good the Jets rush defense is.
This game, it will be snowing, and the Dolphins have given up a TD to an opposing RB in 4 straight games. If Singletary gets in the end zone the Bills Mafia will make it look like a snow cannon went off in the stadium.
Nick Chubb (CLE) +110
This is just too much value to pass up. Rarely do you see someone like Chubb at plus-odds, but he’s been struggling over the last 2 games with Deshaun Watson under center. On the season, Chubb has 9 TDs at home and he has 6TDs against the Ravens in his career.
Jelani Woods (IND) +425
Jelani Woods is a tight end prospect the likes of which we rarely ever see. He’s 6’7″ and 253lbs with a 4.61 40-yard dash. He missed the first 2 games under Jeff Saturday but exploded in Week 12 against Pittsburgh for 8 receptions and 98 yards. Against Dallas in Week 13 his snaps were limited due to issues with their RT and stopping the Cowboys’ pass rush. However, this week, I expect Saturday to have him back in the game plan.
The Vikings have allowed 5 TDs to opposing TEs this season and Woods already has 3 on the year. I was unable to find receiving yards line for Woods, but when it’s available, make sure you jump on it. His 3 TDs have all come in the red zone this season and I expect him to get back in this week.
