The Euro 2024 quarterfinal stage wraps up on Saturday, July 6, with 2 huge games to get excited for. First up, England look to justify their status and Euro 2024 betting favorites when they take on Switzerland at 12:00 pm ET on FOX. That is immediately followed by the Netherlands battling Turkey at 3:00 pm ET on the same station. Which teams will advance to the semifinals? We have expert soccer predictions for EVERY Euro 2024 and Copa America game throughout both tournaments, but for now, let’s dive into our Euro 2024 best bets for Saturday.

England vs Switzerland best bet: Switzerland win or tie double chance (-165)

England were saved from a humiliating Last 16 exit to Slovakia on Sunday thanks to a moment of magic from Jude Bellingham, but there is no doubt that the Three Lions must show drastic improvement if they are to progress any further in this tournament. Gareth Southgate’s team have had just 12 shots on target across their 4 games so far, scoring 4 times and winning only once in 90 minutes. Less worrying than the results are the performances, with howls of frustration providing the backing track to a repeating scenario in which the star-studded England team pass it among their center-backs, refuse to make any runs in behind the defense and fail to offer any width in the final third.

Despite all this, the beaten Euro 2024 finalists remain the betting favorites to win the tournament, and Switzerland could make a mockery of that tag on Saturday. Murat Yakin’s team earned a deserved 2-0 win over Italy in a dominant display last weekend and were moments away from beating Germany in their final group game, which followed an excellent win over Hungary and a more subdued tie with Scotland. Switzerland are now unbeaten in 8 games, with results against the likes of Denmark, Austria, Germany and Italy illustrating that they can go toe-to-toe with anybody right now. England, meanwhile, have only won 1 of their last 5 games inside 90 minutes, making a Switzerland double chance stand out as an excellent bet.

Netherlands vs Turkey best bet: Over 2.5 goals (-134)

The Netherlands dominated Romania in the Last 16, creating chance after chance in a crushing 3-0 victory. That great win came at the perfect time for Ronald Koeman’s team, who have seen the tournament open up for them despite underwhelming in the group stage. After losing to Austria in their final group game, the Dutch slipped to third in Group D. However, they got a kind draw against Romania and then they saw the Austrians eliminated by Turkey. Now the Dutch are big favorites to get the better of Turkey in a game that could see plenty of goals scored.

Dutch forward Cody Gakpo continued his strong showing in Germany, netting for the third time in four games in the win over Romania and has had seven shots on target from 11 attempts. With Turkey conceding over three Expected Goals against Austria in the last round and being yet to record a shutout across their four games, the chances should be there for Gakpo and the Netherlands. The Dutch have enjoyed a high-scoring year in general, with seven of their eight games in 2024 finishing with at least three goals scored. There have been 26 goals scored across those eight matchups, and more look likely in this game.
