The EPL is officially back and we’ve got a huge game to wake up to on Saturday morning as fierce rivals Manchester United and Leeds go head to head at Old Trafford. These two clubs have a storied rivalry and with fans finally back in stadiums you can be sure that this one won’t be short of atmosphere.
To make this matchup even more exciting, we’ve come up with a same game parlay that pays at huge 76/1 odds! Let’s break down each leg.
Tie Money Line (+340)
Under 0.5 1st half goals (+250)
Bruno Fernandes to score (+120)
Parlay odds: +7601
This same game parlay will rely on both teams starting slow and the contest remaining close throughout. However, with the addition of Bruno Fernandes scoring, the odds get greatly inflated as it means both teams will need to score in the second half, which I certainly don’t think is behind the realm of possibility. Let’s dive into each leg one by one. You can also check out the rest of our soccer predictions for every EPL game this weekend.
Tie Money Line (+340)
As mentioned above, the Manchester United and Leeds feud goes way back and both teams are sure to be fired up for this one, especially given it’s the start of the season. While United are clear favorites, Leeds showed last season that they are more than capable of holding their own, and will be highly motivated to put on a show. I would expect some rust from both teams given it is the first game and that some players returned late due to international duty, and that should result in this being a close contest. I can’t see Manchester United running away with it, and odds of +260 on the tie look an excellent proposition.
Under 0.5 1st half goals (+250)
A lot of why I expect this game to be a tie also applies to why I expect the first half to finish scoreless. It might only be the first game of the season, but both teams will be well aware of what is at stake and as a result I expect a cagey start. Further, early Premier League kickoffs (12.30pm local time) tend to be low-scoring, and this is the sort of game where both teams would be content going into halftime with the score still 0-0.

Bruno Fernandes to score (+120)
Bruno Fernandes was Manchester United’s talisman last season and should continue here in the same vein by getting on the scoresheet. The Portuguese player notched 18 goals last season and finished third in the Premier League top scorer standings, and was killer from the penalty spot. United earned 11 penalties last season, the second-most in the league, while Leeds conceded the third-most with 10. With Edinson Cavani likely to miss the opening game, Bruno should have a few chances on goal and has a strong chance of finding the net against a Leeds team that struggles defensively at times.
