One of the EPL’s fiercest derbies takes place on Sunday as North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium. Both have looked underwhelming recently and a win here would go a long way to boosting morale for both the players and the fans.
To add to the drama of this high-stakes matchup, we’ve come up with a same game parlay that pays at nearly 12/1 odds! Let’s break it down.
Tottenham ML (+240)
Both teams to score (-126)
Over 50 points on card index (+116)
Parlay odds: +1167
We’ve got 3 legs in this same game parlay. We like the look of Tottenham to earn their first EPL victory at the Emirates since 2010, but given how poor they’ve looked in defense lately, goals at both ends seems likely. And then given it’s a North London derby with fans back in attendance, tensions could boil over with plenty of yellow cards handed out, and maybe even a red!
Let’s go through each of the legs in more detail, but make sure you also check out the rest of our soccer predictions for every EPL game this weekend.
Tottenham ML (+240)
Tottenham have lost their last two EPL games 3-0, but a penalty shootout victory over Wolves on Wednesday in the EFL Cup may give Spurs the boost they need to come out on top in this matchup. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men made a fast start to this Premier League season, winning each of their first three games 1-0, including against Manchester City, before dropping into their recent slump with defeats to Crystal Palace and Chelsea. However, they can be somewhat forgiven after having to deal with a number of squad absences, and Tottenham still pose a greater threat in front of goal than Arsenal.
The Gunners have managed to score just 2 goals in their opening 5 games, and although they could take advantage of Tottenham’s vulnerable defense, the Spurs counter-attack could be too much for them to handle.

Both teams to score (-126)
At least one team has failed to score in each of Tottenham’s opening 5 league games, but that streak could come to an end. Spurs do have greater firepower than Arsenal but it is impossible to trust their defense at the moment. They leaked 3 goals each to Crystal Palace and Manchester City, while allowing another 2 each in cup games against French team Rennes and Wolves. For all Arsenal’s struggles, it is difficult to see the Tottenham defense keeping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette at bay, and with the home crowd behind them Arsenal should find their way onto the scoresheet.

Over 50 points on card index (+116)
The return of crowds is a big reason why I expect to see plenty of cards in this one. North London derbies are typically spicy games, and the intense atmosphere is likely to rub off on the players on the pitch. The last two times these teams played each other in the EPL at the Emirates with fans in attendance, there were 8 yellow cards handed out in one game, and 6 yellow cards and a red shown in the other. Both teams know they need to make a big impression after their recent efforts, and that could result in emotions getting the better of them. If they do, this same game parlay has a great shot at winning.
A yellow card is worth 10 points on the card index, and a red card is worth 25 points.
