Behind City are Arsenal, who for a long time looked like winning their first EPL title in nearly a decade and have now signed top midfielder Declan Rice. Liverpool and Chelsea are expected to be much improved following last season’s disappointment, while Manchester United will hope to build on last season’s third-place finish under Erik ten Hag.

2023-24 English Premier League best bet: Manchester City (-125)
Manchester City were almost unbeatable from March onwards last season and if they are able to perform at that level then it should be fairly straightforward for Guardiola’s men to once again win the Premier League. The Citizens beat RB Leipzig 7-0, Bayern Munich 3-0 and Real Madrid 4-0 at home in the Champions League to truly display their dominance even against some of Europe’s elite clubs. They also conceded just 5 goals in their 13 UCL games.
Haaland scored 36 goals last season and even if he scores a few goals less this time City should still be flying high at the end of the campaign. It can sometimes be tough betting on a team at -125 with 19 other challengers, but considering Bayern Munich are -350 for the Bundesliga and PSG are -390 to win Ligue 1, there is an argument to be made that there is still some value to be had in taking City to win the EPL.
