The NCAA Tournament continues on Friday with 4 more Sweet 16 games. There is also plenty of action in the NBA and NHL. It’s another busy night in the world of sports, so let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Friday.

NCAAB: Miami -3 over Iowa State

Bettors’ favorite play for Friday’s NCAA Tournament slate is on Miami to win and cover against Iowa State. A total of 85 percent of the handle and 59 percent of the wagers are backing the Hurricanes on the -3 spread. The public will also happily incur -150 juice on the money line, as 74 percent of the handle and 59 percent of the bets are hoping for a straight up victory by the ‘Canes.

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers -5 over Los Angeles Clippers

College basketball may rule this month, but don’t forget about the NBA. We have a 7-game slate in the association and one of the more intriguing matchups features soon-to-be playoff teams in the 76ers and Clippers. It’s the most intriguing betting opportunity in the mind of the public, which is backing Philadelphia against the spread to the tune of 82 percent of the handle and 92 percent of the wagers. On the -120 money line, the Sixers are bringing in 89 percent of the handle and 85 percent of the bets.

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs Atlanta Hawks Over 221.5

The public is hammering another over in the form of Warriors-Hawks. A total of 92 percent of both the money and the wagers are going toward Over 221.5.

We agree with the public on each of these NBA plays, as our experts are picking Philadelphia against the spread and the over when Atlanta hosts Golden State.

NHL: Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over Philadelphia Flyers

Bettors’ favorite NHL play is on the Avalanche (what’s new?!?!) to cover a -1.5 puck line in its home date with Philadelphia. Colorado is being supported by 98 percent of the money and 78 percent of the wagers to win by multiple goals. The public is also more than willing to take a -425 juice hit on the money line, with 93 percent of the handle and 85 percent of the bets needing just a straight up victory by the Avs to cash.

We are all over Colorado, as well. Avalanche -1.5 is one of our 3 best NHL bets of the day.
