Conference championship weekend in the NFL is rapidly approaching, but for now we have to focus on the NBA, NHL, and college basketball. There is more than enough to work with on the betting front when it comes to those three sports on Wednesday. An especially intriguing NBA slate includes the Bucks, Clippers, Heat, Nuggets, Nets, Grizzlies, Suns, and Jazz all in action.
Let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Wednesday.
NBA: Memphis Grizzlies -3.5 over San Antonio Spurs
One of bettors’ favorite plays on the NBA schedule is on Memphis to cover a -3.5 spread on the road against San Antonio. The Grizzlies are bringing in 98 percent of the handle and 88 percent of the bets. And why not? Ja Morant and company have actually lost a few games in the past 2 weeks, but they are still one of the hottest teams in the association and they come in with a 32-17 record. We are backing the Grizz ATS, as well.

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks ML over Cleveland Cavaliers
Punters are also backing the Bucks in their road game against the Cavaliers. Milwaukee is inspiring 90 percent of the handle and 81 percent of the bets on the -190 money line. In addition to winning outright, the public also thinks that Giannis Antetokounmpo and friends will cover the -4.5 spread. A total of 76 percent of the money and 71 percent of the wagers are supporting Milwaukee ATS.

NHL: Washington Capitals -1.5 over San Jose Sharks
Bettors’ favorite NHL play – or one of them – is on the Capitals on the -1.5 puck line in their home date with the Sharks. Washington is being supported by 91 percent of the money and 71 percent of the wagers to win by multiple goals. The public is also happy to incur the -205 juice and bet on the Caps to win straight up. They are drawing a relatively modest 66 percent of the money but also a bloated 94 percent of the money line wagers.

NHL: Colorado Avalanche ML over Boston Bruins
Punters are also putting their faith in the Avalanche, who are hosting the Bruins. The public is not scared off by the -180 money line juice, as there is just that much confidence in Colorado to win outright. A total of 82 percent of the handle and 84 percent of the bets are going in that direction. We are on the Avs, too, and we would advise backing them on the -1.5 puck line (like the Caps) to get a better price.

NCAAB: Davidson ML over VCU
There are seven top-25 teams in action on the college hardwood today. One of them is Davidson, which just became ranked for the first time this season on Monday. Bettors expect the Wildcats to stay there, at least for now. Stephen Curry’s college is inspiring 90 percent of the handle and a whopping 98 percent of the wagers on the -190 money line against visiting VCU.
