Days in the sports world don’t get much bigger than this. In addition to a jam-packed schedule of college football action, the Major League Baseball postseason is continuing and there is also a marquee heavyweight boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. To say that there are a lot of betting opportunities would be a gross understatement.
Let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Saturday.
NCAAF: UCLA -16 over Arizona
One of bettors’ favorite plays on the college football slate centers around UCLA in its road date with Arizona. The Bruins are giving 16 points, but they are still bringing in 82% of the handle and 83% of the bets against the spread. The public also likes the over in this contest. A total of 61% of the handle and 67% of the wagers are backing over 61.

Punters are also hammering Memphis, which is paying a visit to Tulsa. The Tigers are +3 underdogs, but the public is happily tipping them to win straight up. On the +145 money line, Memphis is bringing in 97% of the handle and 82% of the wagers. As for the spread, 85% of the handle and 86% of the wagers are going toward the Tigers.

NCAAF: Georgia State vs Louisiana-Monroe under 49.5
When it comes to game totals, the public is all over the under in this Sun Belt Conference contest between Georgia State and Louisiana-Monroe. Okay, it’s not exactly a matchup that moves the needle. But when you spice it up with a betting angle (as the public is clearly doing), it can offer some intrigue. With 76% of the wagers supporting Under 49.5, 90% of the money is doing the same. Georgia State, which almost beat Auburn last month, is also garnering its fair share of support. The Panthers against the -16 spread are inspiring 69% of the handle and 63% of the bets.
MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers ML over San Francisco Giants
The Dodgers lost Game 1 of this NLDS, but they are still favorites in the National League. Unsurprisingly, punters do not see them falling into a 2-0 hole against the NL West rival Giants. LA on the -115 Game 2 money line is drawing 60% of the handle and 66% of the bets.

NFL: Tennessee Titans -4.5 over Jacksonville Jaguars
It’s not too early to start looking ahead to Sunday’s NFL slate. Heck, it’s almost too late! We are less than 24 hours away from the proceedings, which will kick off at 9:30am ET with the Falcons vs the Jets in London. Speaking of bad teams, the Jaguars are still in search of their first win in 2021. It’s no surprise that they are being faded hard. Not only do they stink, but head coach Urban Meyer is also once again embroiled in off-the-field controversy. Bettors are throwing 92% of the money and 85% of the wagers behind Tennessee to cover the -4.5 spread. The Titans are -200 favorites on the money line and that juice isn’t scaring anyone away. They are being supported by 88% of the money and 89% of the wagers to win straight up.
