The Super Bowl is just a few days away, so obviously we must continue tracking the bets that have come in on the big game. But don’t forget about the likes of the NBA, NHL, and college basketball. We have plenty of action in all of those sports on Thursday, and now it’s time to take a look at where the public money has gone so far.

NBA: Toronto Raptors -8 over Houston Rockets

One of bettors’ favorite plays of the day is on Toronto to cover 8 points in its road game at Houston. The Raptors against the spread are inspiring 95 percent of the handle and 88 percent of the bets. The public also won’t shy away from incurring -350 juice on the money line. Toronto is bringing in 73 percent of the money and 94 percent of the wagers when it comes to winning straight up.

NBA: Miami Heat ML over New Orleans Pelicans

Punters are also putting their faith in the Heat, who are are paying a visit to the Pelicans. The public is not scared off by the -200 money line juice, as there is just that much confidence in Miami to win outright. A total of 72 percent of the handle and 86 percent of the bets are going in that direction. We are on the Heat -4.5 today, so we can’t disagree with these trends.

NHL: St. Louis Blues -1.5 over New Jersey Devils

Bettors’ favorite NHL play – or one of them – is on the Blues on the -1.5 puck line in their home date with the Devils. St. Louis is being supported by 89 percent of the money and 82 percent of the wagers to win by multiple goals. The public is also happy to incur the -275 juice and bet on the Blues to win straight up. They are drawing 95 percent of the handle and also a bloated 94 percent of the money line wagers.

NCAAB: Purdue -3 over Michigan

There are seven top 25 teams in action on the college hardwood today. One of them is Purdue, which is visiting Big Ten rival Michigan. Bettors are putting 95 percent of the money and 93 percent of the wagers on the Boilermakers to cover a -3 point spread. The public also loves the money line, with 96 percent of the handle and 87 percent of the bets backing Purdue to win outright. Purdue -3 is our best bet of the day in college basketball, so we most definitely like what the public is thinking.

NFL: Bengals ML over Rams

Here is the latest Super Bowl betting update: bettors like the Bengals on both the money line and against the spread. It isn’t wildly skewed, but the underdogs are clearly brining in a majority of the bets at the moment. At +170 to win straight up, Cincinnati is being backed by 58 percent of the handle and 65 percent of the wagers. The Bengals are getting 4 points and they are inspiring 59 percent of the money and 63 percent of the bets. As for the total, Over 48.5 is getting 57 percent of the handle and 58 percent of the bets. That isn’t surprising since the public pretty much always likes to play overs, but we are on the under for Super Bowl LVI.
