It is a busy Wednesday in the world of sports, and another NFL week is quickly approaching. Bettors have a whole host of opportunities on which to feast, including a massive 13-game slate in the NBA. There are also plenty of games on offer in the NHL and on the college gridiron.

Let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Wednesday.

NBA: Chicago Bulls -4 over Dallas Mavericks

Bettors’ favorite NBA ATS play of the day is on the red-hot Bulls against the visit Mavericks. Chicago is being backed by 83 percent of the handle and 82 percent of the wagers to cover a -4 spread. The public also really likes the over in this contest. It is hammering Over 215 to the tune of 95 percent of the money and 82 percent of the bets.

NBA: Golden State Warriors ML over Minnesota Timberwolves

Not too many teams are off to better starts than the 7-3 Bulls and the 7-3 Mavericks, but one exception is Golden State. The Warriors are 9-1, which is good for the best record in all of basketball by more than a full game. They have done it without Klay Thompson and James Wiseman, too. Unsurprisingly, punters are once again getting behind Stephen Curry and company on Wednesday. Golden State is inspiring 96 percent of the handle and 95 percent of the bets on the -305 money line against visiting Minnesota. The public is mostly inclined to give the 7.5 points, as well. A total of 66 percent of the handle and 89 percent of the wagers are supporting a Warriors cover.

NHL: Minnesota Wild ML over Arizona Coyotes

One of bettors’ favorite plays of the day in the NHL is a bit of a no-brainer. At 1-10-1, Arizona is the worst team in the league by a country mile. It now has to go up against an 8-3-0 Minnesota squad. The Coyotes at least have home-ice advantage for this one, but punters are unconcerned with that fact. They are backing the Wild on the -205 money line with 79 percent of the handle and 87 percent of the wagers. On the -1.5 puck line, the visitors are drawing 59 percent of the money and 83 percent of the bets. We certainly can’t disagree. In fact, Minnesota on the money line is our best NHL bet of the day.

NCAAF: Central Michigan -2.5 over Kent State

MACtion!!!! We enjoyed three such games yesterday and we get three more today. One of them pits Central Michigan against visiting Kent State. The Chippewas are drawing 74 percent of the money and 71 percent of the bets on the -2.5 point spread. Punters also have their eye on the over, which they tend to do in just about with every game in every sport. After all, who likes to root for an under?!?! Over 75.5 in this battle between the Chippewas and Golden Flashes is being backed by 83 percent of the handle.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens -7.5 over Miami Dolphins

Thursday Night Football is a little more than 24 hours away; in other words, it’s certainly not too early to start looking ahead. The Ravens are -7.5 road favorites at Miami and they are inspiring 86 percent of the money and 88 percent of the wagers against the spread. Bettors are by no means scared off by the -335 money line juice, either. They are throwing 93 percent of the handle and 91 percent of the bets toward an outright win for Baltimore.
