It’s conference championship day in the NFL! Get your popcorn popped for Bengals vs Chiefs in the AFC Championship followed by 49ers vs Rams in the NFC Championship. Of course, we also have some NBA and NHL action on the schedule. So don’t completely forget about that!

It’s a jam-packed Sunday in the world of sports, so let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs Over 54.5

There is nothing the public loves more than a good over bet, so it’s no surprise to see bettors calling for points, points, and more points in each of the championship games. In Cincinnati vs Kansas City they are hammering Over 54.5 to the tune of 74% of the handle and 72% of the bets.

NFL: San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams Over 45

Punters also like the over in San Francisco vs Los Angeles. A total of 61% of the money and 55% of the wagers are backing Over 45. Our NFL expert is actually on the under in this contest, but we agree with the public that the over is the way to go in the AFC festivities. Yeah, it’s easier to fade Jimmy Garoppolo than it is Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow!

NFL: Los Angeles Rams ML over San Francisco 49ers

The public also likes a side in the NFC Championship. In fact, the Rams are getting even more action than the over. On the -170 money line, the home team is inspiring 66% of the handle and 61% of the bets. Bettors are not quite as inclined to give the 3.5 points, which isn’t surprising given that a competitive contest between two division rivals can be expected. With 55% of the money going toward LA against the spread, 61% of the wagers are doing the same.

NBA: Dallas Mavericks -5.5 over Orlando Magic

Dallas may not have got the job done on the football field this season, but bettors at least expect the city’s basketball team to take care of business on Sunday. The Mavericks are favored by 5.5 points at Orlando and they are bringing in 94% of the handle and 81% of the wagers against the spread.

NHL: Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over Buffalo Sabres

Bettors’ favorite NHL play – or one of them – is on the Avalanche on the -1.5 puck line in their road date with the Sabres. What’s new?! Colorado gets hammered by the public basically every time they take the ice. The Avs are being supported by 96% of the money and 85% of the wagers to win by multiple goals. Punters are also happy to incur the bloated -425 juice and bet on Colorado to win straight up. The Avalanche are drawing 91% of the handle and 95% of the wagers on the money line.
