The action has been a bit quiet for many of the top teams currently ranked in the CS:GO World Power Rankings, but after a busy June, the action will be reheating up soon. Team BIG has made the jump to the top spot, and with team Vitality and Evil Geniuses nipping at their heals. Vitality grabbed a second-straight runner-up finish and that has kept them near the top of the rankings. Here’s how the top 10 CS:GO teams in the world stand.
1. BIG (851 points)
Behind syrsoN Team BIG has jumped to the top of the World Standings, after three-straight championships in DreamHack Spring, ESL Pro League Season 12 qualifier, and cs_summit 6. BIG looks to be one of the biggest contenders this year.
2. Team Vitality (848 points)
Vitality has reached an elite level, and with top player ZywOo still atop the player rankings. It’s back-to-back runner-up finishes as a team, Vitality could have a huge Summer.
3. Evil Geniuses (755 points)
EG has really had a strong run to the third spot in the World Rankings, as the current best team from North America. With victories in both BLAST Premier Spring and cs_summit 6, Evil Geniuses looks bound for success.
4. Natus Vincere (738 points)
Following back-to-back 4th-place finishes, Na’Vi returned to the winner circle, by taking down Team Spirit in the Grand Final of WePlay! Clutch Island. They will be hoping for a strong showing once play resumes.
5. G2 Esports (689 points)
G2 took a big drop this week after holding a top-three spot in the previous rankings. Their 9th-place finish cs_summit 6 didn’t help their cause.
6. Fnatic (640 points)
Fnatic looks to have regained its confidence, as they are starting to heat up at the right time. With a sixth-place finish or better in their last two events.
7. FaZe Clan (579 points)
FaZe had a terrible time in cs-Summit 6, as they failed to reach the top 10 in the final results. Which snapped a streak of three straight events with a top-four finish.
8. Team Liquid (578 points)
The strong finishes continue for Team liquid, but not quite at a championship level, as they finished 3rd in cs_summit 6. They need to find a way to get back to a Championship contending level.
9. FURIA Esports (540 points)
It was as far from successful for FURIA in cs_Summit 6 as they had their worst team finish in a while. Top three or better has been their average, but a recent 6ht-place finish just won’t cut it.
10. Astralis (500 points)
Since winning ESL One Road to Rio, Astralis has really taken a big decline. Their last two events have been 7th-place or worse finishes. Astralis is trending the wrong way.
Complexity Gaming is almost there
Any more stumbling and Complexity Gaming has a real chance to jump into the top 10. BlameF led Complexity to a win in BLAST Premier Spring, but couldn’t quite replicate the success in the cs_summit 6 Europe Regional Qualifier, as they failed to qualify for the finals.
