Group B at Copa America 2024 comes to a close on Sunday, July 30, as Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador and Jamaica will all find out their fate. To the surprise of many, Venezuela have already secured qualification to the next round after victories over Mexico and Ecuador, while Jamaica have been eliminated after defeats to those same opponents. Venezuela and Jamaica will face off at 8:00 pm ET live on FS1. Meanwhile, Mexico must beat Ecuador if they are to advance to the Copa America quarterfinals, and that matchup also kicks off at 8:00 pm ET and will air live on FOX. We’ll have our expert soccer predictions throughout Copa America as well as EVERY Euro 2024 game, but for now, let’s dive into our 2024 Copa America best bets for Saturday.

Mexico vs Ecuador best bet: Ecuador ML (+160)

Ecuador and Mexico meet in the final round of Copa America Group B games in what is essentially a knockout game. Both teams have 3 points on the board and Ecuador have the advantage of knowing a tie would be enough to progress as they sit second, while Mexico need to win. Both teams have beaten Jamaica and lost to surprise package Venezuela – although Ecuador were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half as Enner Valencia was dismissed. Valencia is available for this game after a 1-game ban and an Ecuador win looks the best bet. They may only need a tie, but this team isn’t necessarily set up to defend a point and they haven’t had a stalemate in their last 8 games (5-3 record).
