Aidan Chiles (MSU) over 0.5 interceptions (-200)
This was the first leg of our Same Game Parlay last week, and I am going right back to the well this week. Why wouldn’t I? Aidan Chiles has been sloppy with the ball all season with 8 interceptions and 14 turnover-worthy plays. In fact, 5 of those interceptions and 8 of those turnover-worthy plays took place in Michigan State’s 2 road games combined. On the road again in this game, Chiles and the Spartans will line up opposite an Oregon defense that intercepted Ethan Garbers twice last week out of its bye and currently ranks 13th nationally in havoc generated (excluding garbage time). Chiles has been picked off in all but 1 game this season, which was Michigan State’s lone FCS matchup. Look for him to continue his turnover trend under the Friday Night Lights in Eugene.

Oregon Ducks -23.5 over Michigan State Spartans (-110)
This game opened with Oregon around a 24.5-point favorite in its first Big Ten home game, but the line moved in favor of Michigan State early in the week. Now under a somewhat key number of 24, the Ducks are in play against the spread. A lot is being made of the Ducks’ first 2 games, and rightfully so. They beat FCS Idaho by just 10 points at home and nearly lost at home again the following week to running back sensation Ashton Jeanty and the Boise State Broncos.
However, the Ducks have seemingly righted the ship in their most recent contests. They outgained in-state rival Oregon State 546-309 in a 49-14 road victory in Week 3 and maintained that level of dominance out of their bye with a 34-13 win at UCLA last week. For reference, the Bruins converted only 1 of their 10 3rd-down attempts and accumulated less than 175 total yards against the Ducks. Despite this being a potential lookahead spot to Ohio State next week, Oregon’s dominant defensive performance should continue against a Michigan State offense that is 87th in PPA and scores less than 2.9 points per trip into the green zone (excluding garbage time). My power ratings show value on Oregon up to -25.5, so I am happy to include the Ducks in this Michigan State vs Oregon Same Game Parlay at the current number.

Tez Johnson (ORE) to score a touchdown (-150)
Last week, I identified a soft spot in Michigan State’s slot coverage and was able to exploit it with an Emeka Egbuka touchdown. Once again, I am going back to the well this week – this time with Tez Johnson. The Oregon wide receiver lines up in the slot on 80% of his pass snaps, and is tied with Jordan James as the team leader in touchdowns scored. While James is -300 to score anytime, -150 feels like a fair number for Johnson in this matchup against a defense that has now given up 5 touchdowns out of the slot this season (PFF).
