One of the most anticipated games of the season will take place in Baton Rouge this weekend, as the Ohio State Buckeyes will travel to Autzen Stadium for a date with the Oregon Ducks in a showdown between a pair of top 5 teams. This is a tremendous game with a lot on the line for both teams, and I’ve found a couple of legs to pair together for a Same Game Parlay at +543 odds!

You can find our college football picks for tonight and all of Saturday’s biggest matchups, but for now let’s dive into our Alabama vs LSU Same Game Parlay picks.

LSU to win by 1-10 points (+260)

Jalen Milroe (ALA) to score a touchdown (-160)

Alabama vs LSU Same Game Parlay odds: +650

LSU Tigers to win by 1-10 points (+260)

I’m getting a little exotic with the side portion in this Same Game Parlay over at FanDuel, as we’ll be parlaying the LSU money line with Alabama +10.5 on an alternate spread to achieve this first leg. While this leg does require multiple conditions for it to cash, I find it hard to believe that a LSU victory comes in blowout fashion, particularly with this game priced at well under a touchdown.

In my estimation there isn’t all that much separating these teams — which has me leaning toward the LSU side at home catching over a field goal. Both teams should have matchup advantages over each other, but my favorite mismatch in this game is backing Garrett Nussmeier and this LSU passing offense against a vulnerable Alabama secondary that’s still very inexperienced in big games. It’s easy to poke holes in this Alabama defense, especially since the Crimson Tide haven’t exactly faced a murderers row of quarterbacks this season, including a whopping 4 backup QBs over the first 8 games. Conversely, the Tigers have faced an extremely difficult schedule thus far, and that’s prepared Brian Kelly’s team for this challenge on Saturday. LSU’s defense has continued to get better as the year has gone on, while the Crimson Tide have struggled mightily on offense in 3 of their last 4 games, especially in the passing game. Lastly, Kelly has been excellent in these spots as a home underdog in his career, so let’s take the Tigers to pull off the outright upset.

Jalen Milroe (ALA) to score a touchdown (-160)

For our second and final leg of this Same Game Parlay, let’s go with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe to find the end zone on Saturday. As other analysts and expert’s have pointed out in relation to this game, Milroe’s ability to evade pressure and create big plays with his legs could be a serious issue for the Tigers in this matchup. LSU’s defense has struggled with mobile quarterbacks all season long, with the Tigers yielding 88 yards and 2 touchdowns to South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers on 10 carries back in Week 3, and 62 yards and a whopping 3 touchdowns on 9 carries to Texas A&M’s Marcell Reed just a few weeks ago. At the very least, Milroe is as good of a runner as those players, if not better. Given the matchup at hand and the magnitude of this game, I think Kalen DeBoer will be more than willing to use his quarterbacks legs, particularly in the red zone. Let’s take Milroe to find paydirt in this massive matchup.
