Just like that we have reached the end of the regular season and March Madness is right around the corner. We have a solid college hoops slate on Sunday, and what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, college basketball edition.

I just hit this CBB mega parlay the last time I wrote it on Wednesday at +1125; now let’s make it two in a row! We are going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every big NCAAB game.

South Florida ML (+280)

Minnesota ML (+265)

Parlay odds: +1287

Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.

South Florida ML (+280) over Temple

I’m looking to the AAC for the first leg of our mega parlay. South Florida has been having a very disappointing season, but it hasn’t been as bad as it seems. Most of the Bulls’ recent losses have been close games, and two games ago they beat Cincinnati on the road. Cincinnati is better than Temple is. The Bulls play at a slow pace and actually play very good defense, which increases the variance in their games by limiting possessions and makes them a prime target as a money line underdog.

Perhaps most importantly, they already beat Temple once this year. Back in that first meeting, they held the Owls to just 36.7 percent shooting from the floor. Temple’s offense hasn’t been the same since Khalif Battle went down with his season-ending foot injury, and I expect them to once agains struggle with this pesky USF defense. This one should be an ugly defensive struggle just like their first matchup, and it feels like a toss-up to me.

Minnesota ML (+265) over Northwestern

We’re going with another team having their Senior Day spoiled for the final leg of our parlay. Just like South Florida beat Temple in their first meeting, Minnesota has already defeated Northwestern this season. The Golden Gophers didn’t just beat them; they crushed them. They won by 17 and the game was never in doubt as Northwestern shot only 37 percent from the floor. Star sophomore Jamison Battle had 21/14/5 in that one, and Luke Loewe hit 6 threes.

Speaking of Battle, he is coming off a ridiculous game against Maryland on the road. He dropped 39 points while hitting 7 threes. Northwestern has lost 5 of its last 6 games, and the only win in that span came against bottom-feeding Nebraska. The Wildcats just lost by 21 to Iowa. I’m not sure they should be this large of a favorite against just about anybody in the Big Ten.
