It’s another loaded Saturday slate in college basketball as programs big and small are taking the court for another jam-packed day of hoops. With so many exciting games, I’ve combed through the board and found a few edges that I believe can create a parlay with an excellent payout of nearly 8/1 odds!
Let’s take a look at my 3-team mega parlay for Saturday, but make sure you also check out our college basketball picks for the day’s biggest games.
Oklahoma ML (+145)
Michigan -1.5 (-110)

Oklahoma Sooners ML (+145) over Kansas Jayhawks
This could be the biggest game of the season for Oklahoma, as the Sooners need this one in the worst way. Following a massive victory over Alabama on January 28, Oklahoma promptly dropped 3 straight games to Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Baylor. Now, the Sooners are in desperate need of another Quad 1 victory to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes intact. They won’t get many more opportunities to knock off a top-10 team at home, especially one as fickle as Kansas. The Jayhawks have been extremely up-and-down of late, coming up short on the road against Kansas State, Baylor and Iowa State in recent weeks. Seeing as Oklahoma led for most of its first meeting against Kansas back on January 10, I think the Sooners finish the job this time around and keep their postseason hopes alive.

Michigan Wolverines -1.5 (-110) over Indiana Hoosiers
Don’t look now, but Michigan is playing some of its best basketball of the season in recent weeks. After suffering an embarrassing loss to Penn State, the Wolverines dispatched Northwestern, Ohio State and Nebraska in consecutive games, bringing them into a tie for 2nd place in the Big Ten standings. Michigan’s NCAA Tournament hopes are on life support, but a win over a top-20 Indiana team would go a long way to helping its cause. And while no one in college basketball has been hotter than Indiana of late, the Hoosiers are simply not the same team on the road. Indiana is just 3-5 in true road games this season, and I expect them to struggle away from the friendly confines of Assembly Hall once again. This spot calls for a Michigan victory, so I’ll lay the short number.
Illinois Fighting Illini -4.5 (-110) over Rutgers Scarlet Knights
To close out our mega parlay, we’re going with Illinois to cover the spread against Rutgers. The Illini have been a hard team to figure out this season, but this is a great spot for Illinois in front of its home fans. Illinois is 11-2 at home this season and hasn’t played for 7 days due to a postponement earlier this week against Minnesota. This sets up nicely for a rested and hungry team to square off against a Rutgers side that will be playing its 3rd straight game away from Jersey Mikes Arena. The Scarlet Knights are an outstanding home team, but have just 2 wins in true road games this season. Rutgers’ offense takes a nosedive when the Scarlet Knights are away from home, and I think Illinois jumps on them early en route to a comfortable victory.
