The final Saturday of the 2021-22 college basketball season is upon us. And the lineup does not disappoint. A total of 16 teams in the AP top 25 are taking the court, including No. 4 Duke against North Carolina in head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. We also have an all-ranked showdown between USC and UCLA, while No. 6 Kansas is hosting No. 21 Texas.
Let’s take a look at our three-team mega parlay for Saturday.
TCU ML (+120)
Purdue -14 alternate spread (+170)
Kansas -6.5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1034
For this parlay we are going with two favorites against the spread – one on an alternate number – and one underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
TCU ML over West Virginia (+120)
At this point most questions about whether or not TCU is for real have been answered. The Horned Frogs beat Texas Tech and Kansas in back-to-back games, and then lost by 4 points in a match with the Jayhawks that almost everyone predicted would be a KU runaway. A win over West Virginia would likely secure their spot in the NCAA Tournament. Their offensive rebounding ability will likely be too much for WVU to overcome, as TCU ranks second in the country in offensive rebounding rate (the Mountaineers rank just 346th in that department). The first game between these teams saw TCU grab more than 43% of its missed shots, which led to a 10-point victory. To make matters worse for West Virginia, Eddie Lampkin of the Horned Frogs did not even play in that game. Look for the visitors to pull off a minor upset.

Purdue -14 alternate spread over Indiana (+170)
Indiana is fighting for its NCAA Tournament life after losing 6 of its last 8 games and falling below .500 in the Big Ten. Things are not looking bright for the Hoosiers following their home loss to Rutgers on Wednesday. Their 3-point shooting struggled once again and has held them back all year from being able to take that next step as a team. The Hoosiers are desperate for a win, but the Boilermakers are one of the best teams in the country on their home court. Purdue is trending downward as we finish the regular season but has been outstanding at home all year. The Boilermakers are 15-1 on the season with their lone loss coming to Big Ten regular-season champion Wisconsin. In their last home game they beat Rutgers 84-72 while shooting 53.1% from the field. Jaden Ivey went 0-for-5 from 3-point land and still finished the game with 25 points and 4 assists. Purdue also has an advantage inside even against Trayce Jackson-Davis thanks to Zach Edey and Trevion Williams. This should be a rout.

Kansas -6.5 over Texas (-110)
Texas can’t seem to get a winning streak going in a tough Big 12, but it has played well enough to secure the 4 seed in the conference tournament next week. In their most recent outing the Longhorns were unable to defend their home court as Baylor came into town and beat them 68-61. Texas squeezed out a 79-76 win in Austin last time these teams met, on February 7. But the Jayhawks are just 4-6 away from home and this should be a great opportunity for them to get revenge inside Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas is currently tied with Baylor for first place in the Big 12 at 13-4. Kansas has lost just once at home this season – to Kentucky during the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
