Just like that we’re approaching the home stretch of conference play, and we have a solid college hoops slate on Monday. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, college basketball edition.
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every big NCAAB game.
Georgia Tech ML (+320)
Oklahoma State ML (+170)
Parlay odds: +1034
Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.
Georgia Tech ML (+320) over Syracuse
We are starting off this mega parlay in the ACC. Don’t count out Georgia Tech just because it is having a disappointing season. The Yellow Jackets at least have a bit of momentum here as they enter this one off a road win over Pitt — the same Pitt team that Syracuse just recently lost to by double-digits. Syracuse is also ripe for an upset right now. The Orange had already not been playing their best ball of late, and they just suffered a crucial injury. Junior big man Jesse Edwards injured his wrist a couple of games ago and that will sideline him for the rest of the season. Edwards is averaging 12 & 6.5, so this is going to be a massive loss. He was also averaging 2.8 blocks per game, and that kind of rim protection on defense isn’t going to be easy to replace. In the two games since Edwards got hurt, Syracuse beat a bad Boston College team but also lost by double-digits to Virginia Tech.
Oklahoma State ML (+170) over Baylor
To wrap up this mega parlay we are looking to the Big 12. Give me Oklahoma State. The Cowboys already upset Baylor once this year, so why not do it again? And that game came at Baylor, while this one is back home — where OSU is really tough to beat. Oklahoma State has won five of its past six at home, with the only loss in that span coming by just three points in overtime to Iowa State.
One of the wins is against an elite Texas team by double-digits. Baylor has cooled off significantly in conference play, and it is an unremarkable 7-5 in the last 12 games. Oklahoma State plays lights-out defense, and when these teams first played the Cowboys held Adam Flagler and James Akinjo to a combined 20-for-18 from the floor. Now back in front of their own fans, they should bring that same defensive intensity again.
