Just like that, we’re approaching the home stretch of conference play, and we have a small but interesting college hoops slate on Friday. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay, college basketball edition.
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every big NCAAB game.
Manhattan ML (+188)
Nevada ML (+340)
Parlay odds: +1167
Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.
Manhattan ML (+188) over Niagara
To start this mega parlay, take the Manhattan Jaspers. Manhattan is 11-7 on the year while Niagara is 9-11. The advanced metrics don’t love Manhattan because they’ve won a bunch of close games, but hey, this team finds ways to win. The Jaspers also have some impressive wins, such as when they crushed a top 100 Liberty team by 16 points during non-conference play.
Senior forward Jose Perez has been on an absolute tear recently, and his 29 points helped them beat a solid Marist team in their most recent game. In 8 of his last 12 games, Perez has put up at least 22 points. Niagara, on the other hand, has lost 3 of its last 4 games, with the only win in that span coming by a single point.
Nevada ML (+340) over Fresno State
We’ll look toward one of the slate’s nightcaps to wrap us up and hopefully bring this parlay home. I’ve got the Nevada Wolfpack. Getting better than 3/1 here is just too good to pass up. Nevada has some real upside, as they showed when they beat a PAC 12 team (Washington) by 19 earlier this year. Perhaps most importantly for this bet, they already beat this same Fresno State team just a couple of weeks ago.
This is a nationally televised game on FS1, so we’re going to get their best effort and I expect this one to come down to the wire. Lead scorer Grant Sherfield is questionable, and if he plays then we’re getting a ton of value because this line appears to be counting on him not playing. Even if he doesn’t, Nevada still has plenty of other capable scorers, including senior guard Desmond Cambridge Jr, who averages 15.5 per game.
