The knockout stage of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League continues with another pair of games on Wednesday afternoon in the Last 16. The first legs of Lazio vs Bayern Munich and PSG vs Real Sociedad will take place, and we have a best bet for each of those matchups with both scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm ET on Paramount+. Lazio vs Bayern Munich best bet: Lazio or tie double chance (+115)
Bayern boast an excellent Champions League record, winning 13 of their last 17 games in the competition with their only loss in that run coming against eventual champions Manchester City in the quarterfinals last year. Their record against Italian teams is also impressive as they have avoided defeat in their last 12 meetings. However, Lazio have proven they can be difficult to beat at the Stadio Olimpico this season, with their only loss in their last 15 home games coming against runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan, and they could be set to frustrate the 6-time Champions League winners. Maurizio Sarri’s team held Atletico Madrid to a 1-1 tie at the Stadio Olimpico in the group stage before beating both Feyenoord and Celtic in shutouts in their remaining home games to qualify for the last-16.

PSG vs Real Sociedad best bet: Real Sociedad or tie double chance (+115)
Luis Enrique’s team is in excellent form right now but they only won 2 of their 6 Champions League group games and, given how tough the visitors have been to break down this season, backing a Real Sociedad win or tie looks good value. Goals could be in short supply, too. PSG’s last 2 Champions League games have ended 1-1 and Real Sociedad have tied 3 of their last 4 games and 3 of their 6 group games earlier this season.
