Manchester City vs Copenhagen best bet: Julian Alvarez last goalscorer (+260)
Manchester City’s 6-3 win over their rivals Manchester United means they have netted 35 times in 10 games in all competitions, including 17 for their Norwegian goal machine Erling Haaland.
The Citizens have netted 22 times in 5 home games and are a daunting prospect for any side, let alone one as out of form as Copenhagen.
After winning the league last season, the Danish side have lost six of their 11 league matches this campaign, which saw their manager Jess Thorup sacked.
Pep Guardiola’s men should pick up a comfortable win, with Julian Alvarez the pick to be last goalscorer, since Haaland is likely to be rested late on in the game.
Chelsea vs Milan best bet: Chelsea ML (-140)
Chelsea need to get their Champions League campaign going after taking 1 point from their first 2 matches but they should be able to do so against an injury-hit Milan team. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Florenzi, Divock Origi, Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Alexis Saelemaekers and Theo Hernandez are all missing through injury for the Italians.
Milan lost 2-1 to Napoli recently and needed 2 late goals to pick up a 3-1 win over Empoli in the league on Saturday. Chelsea have also won 5 of their last 7 Champions League matches at home and should be able to grind out a result.
Sevilla vs Borussia Dortmund best bet: Borussia Dortmund ML (+140)
It’s hard to make a case for many teams in Europe having a worse start to the season than Sevilla, who have won just 1 of their 9 games in all competitions and have lost 5 of those.
The Spanish club were beaten 4-0 by Manchester City in their first Champions League game before a 0-0 tie away to Copenhagen in their second. Visitors Borussia Dortmund were 3-0 winners against the Danish side and gave City a real scare in their 2-1 defeat to the Premier League champions.
Given the defensive issues that the hosts have had so far this season, take Dortmund to secure the victory.
Benfica vs PSG best bet: Benfica or tie double chance (+110)
Benfica have been strong so far in this year’s Champions League and can offer a real threat to Paris Saint-Germain in this matchup. The Portuguese side beat Maccabi Haifa 2-0 in their first game before picking up a 2-1 win away to Italian giants Juventus.
As for PSG, they also picked up 2 wins against Maccabi Haifa and Juve. However, they have looked vulnerable at times recently and have won their last 3 league games by a single goal. Benfica can make life difficult for the visitors and are fancied to pick up at least a tie in this interesting Champions League game.
