Tuesday’s slate will see Manchester City hosting RB Leipzig in England after a 1-1 tie in the first leg in Germany, while Inter Milan is defending a 1-0 lead against Porto in Portugal.

Manchester City vs RB Leipzig best bet: Manchester City ML & over 2.5 goals (-110)
Manchester City is a strong favorite at odds of around -270 to win the second leg against Leipzig, but by making a parlay with over 2.5 goals, the odds are much more attractive. Despite being held to a 1-1 tie by Josko Gvardiol’s goal for Leipzig in the first leg, City is expected to progress to the quarterfinals. City had to work hard to beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in the EPL on Saturday, but Leipzig should take a more positive approach than the Eagles did. The road loss against Borussia Dortmund was Leipzig’s first defeat in 10 away games. The German club has scored the 3rd-most goals in the Bundesliga and, as well as losing 2-0 at Real Madrid in the group stage, won on the road against Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk.
A trip to face City is a tough assignment, especially as the English champions have posted 7 wins and a tie in their last 8 home games. The Citizens dug deep for an important 1-0 win against Arsenal, but their European games tend to be more open. Seven of City’s last 9 Champions League home wins have produced at least 3 goals and with Leipzig likely to be positive in search of an upset, it would not be a surprise if that trend continues.

Porto vs Inter Milan best bet: Porto ML (+170)
A 1-0 win for Inter in the first leg has left this Champions League matchup delicately poised and the Italian club cannot afford to think the hard work is done as it heads to Portugal for the second game. Inter’s confidence may also be affected by their lack of success on the road after losses in back-to-back Serie A games at Bologna and Spezia, while those disappointments were preceded by a goalless tie at struggling Sampdoria.
Porto remains strong on its own field and should be encouraged by group-stage home wins over Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid. Those victories were an excellent response to a 4-0 loss to Club Brugge in its opening home match in this competition. Inter has won just 3 of its last 9 road games overall. A repeat of their 3-3 tie at Barcelona would be enough to punch a ticket to the quarterfinals, but there is work to be done and the Porto ML for Tuesday’s game has good value.
