The knockout stage of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League has arrived, and we have 4 huge matchups taking place across Tuesday and Wednesday before the other 8 teams get involved next week. Among those playing this week are reigning champions Manchester City, who head to Denmark on Tuesday to take on Copenhagen. In addition to that matchup, Spanish giants Real Madrid make the trip to Germany to battle RP Leipzig. We have a best bet for each of those games, with them scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm ET on Paramount+. Copenhagen vs Manchester City best bet: Tie-Manchester City Halftime/Fulltime double result (+284)
On paper, a trip to Denmark to take on a team that is making just its 2nd-ever appearance in the knockout stage of the Champions League should be pretty straightforward for Manchester City, the reigning champions who are managed by perennial winner Pep Guardiola. However, things may not be that simple for the Citizens as Copenhagen tend to remain resolute at home with a vicious atmosphere created by their fans at Parken Stadium.
The Lions spectacularly made it through a group containing giants Bayern Munich and Manchester United as well Champions League regulars Galatasaray to reach this stage and will be keen to continue their brilliant performances in this season’s competition when the champions come to town. Manchester City should have enough quality to eventually secure the win, but Copenhagen should be able to frustrate them for at least 45 minutes.

RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid best bet: Real Madrid ML (+120)
Real Madrid have been exceptional this season, winning all 6 of their Champions League group games and now sitting 5 points clear at the top of La Liga, following a dominant 4-0 win over closest rivals Girona on Saturday. They will be keen to continue that form on Tuesday when heading to Germany to take on RB Leipzig in the last-16 of the Champions League and they should be feeling confident too, with their hosts having lost 3 of their last 5 matches. Leipzig could only tie with bottom-half Bundesliga team Augsburg on Saturday and a repeat of that performance – they were outshot 11-9 by a team 14 points worse off than them – would surely see them put to the sword by an extremely talented Madrid team.
