There are 8 group games in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, with 8 more taking place on Wednesday, as the race for places in the elimination stages heats up with the penultimate slate of group matchups. Borussia Dortmund vs Manchester City is a key fixture at the top of Group G, while Real Madrid looks set for an exciting trip to Leipzig and Benfica is aiming to eliminate Juventus.

We’ve selected 4 strong bets from Tuesday’s slate so read on for our Champions League predictions. You can also read this week’s soccer predictions including the weekend’s EPL picks. Odds shown are available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Dinamo Zagreb vs AC Milan best bet: AC Milan ML (-125)

Dinamo Zagreb started its Champions League campaign with a shock win over Chelsea, but the Croatian champions have struggled since then. Dinamo picked up just 1 point from home and road matches against RB Salzburg on matchdays 3 and 4, having lost 3-1 to AC Milan at San Siro on matchday 2.

Milan has won its last 4 matches in Serie A, including a 2-0 victory against Juventus, and the Italian champions should overcome their injury problems to take 3 points in Zagreb.

RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid best bet: Over 3.5 goals (+160)

Real Madrid scored 2 late goals to claim a 2-0 home win over RB Leipzig on matchday 2 but the Spanish league leaders can expect a tougher test in Tuesday’s trip to Germany. Leipzig has rediscovered its mojo since a shock 4-1 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk in its opener, winning its last 5 home games and scoring at least 3 times in all 5 of those matches.

That run includes an impressive 3-0 win against Borussia Dortmund and a high-scoring game is likely on Tuesday as Real is also in fine goalscoring form, beating Barcelona 3-1, Elche 3-0 and Sevilla 3-1 in its last 3 games in La Liga.

Borussia Dortmund vs Manchester City best bet: Manchester City ML & both teams to score (+150)

Borussia Dortmund is aiming to draw level with Manchester City on 10 points at the top of Group F but the EPL champions should have enough offensive quality to secure an entertaining win in Germany. City needed a couple of brilliant late goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland, a former Dortmund hero, to claim a 2-1 win in this season’s first meeting between these teams and backing Pep Guardiola’s side to win with both teams scoring could be profitable again.

City drew 0-0 in Copenhagen and lost 1-0 at Liverpool in the EPL but bounced back to form with a 3-1 win over Brighton last weekend. Dortmund thrashed Stuttgart 5-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday and has won 4, lost 4 and tied 2 of its last 10 games in all competitions. That inconsistency could be costly against City.

Benfica vs Juventus best bet: Benfica ML (+100)

Juventus is on the verge of an early exit from the Champions League after a surprise loss to Maccabi Haifa on matchday 4 and Benfica looks set to seal the Italians’ fate on Tuesday. The in-form home team tied 1-1 at home and away to Group H favourite Paris St-Germain after winning 2-1 against Juventus in Turin last month.

Confidence in the Benfica camp was boosted by a 1-0 win at Portuguese title rival Porto at the weekend and Roger Schmidt’s team has taken 28 points from a possible 30 in Portugal this season. Juventus is traveling without 7 injured first-team players and Benfica should take full advantage, knowing that a win would secure a place in the last 16 of Europe’s premier club competition.
