Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig best bet: Real Madrid ML & over 2.5 goals (-105)
Real Madrid and Leipzig’s Champions League campaigns could hardly have got off to a more contrasting start as Los Blancos beat Celtic 3-0 while the German team was on the wrong end of a 4-1 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk. That result saw Leipzig manager Domenico Tedesco fired and new coach Marco Rose got off to a perfect start with a 3-0 win over Dortmund at the weekend.
However, playing Real Madrid at the Bernabeu is a different test altogether and even without Karim Benzema, Carlo Ancelotti’s team can win what should be a high-scoring game. Over 2.5 goals and a Real win has cashed in their last 6 games and looks likely to happen again.
Chelsea vs Salzburg best bet: Both teams to score – Yes (-142)
New Chelsea manager Graham Potter begins his time in charge with the UCL visit of Salzburg after the Blues’ disappointing 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb last week led to Thomas Tuchel being fired the next day.
Salzburg tied 1-1 with Milan in its first match of their European campaign, making it 9 of the Austrian club’s last 11 Champions League games that have seen both teams scoring. They have a number of injuries but have offensive depth which means that they can still cause the EPL team problems. Take both teams to find the net in this clash that marks the start of a new era for Chelsea.
Juventus vs Benfica best bet: Benfica ML (+220)
Juventus is having a difficult start to the season, winning just 2 of 7 games, including a 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in this competition last week. Juve also has a growing injury list that includes Angel di Maria, Federico Chiesa and Paul Pogba and the home teams looks vulnerable in this game.
Benfica is in fantastic form, winning all 11 games this season. The Portuguese team couldn’t have asked for a better time to play Juve and may be able to further deepen their woes with a win in Turin.

Rangers vs Napoli best bet: Napoli ML (-120)
Napoli pulled off the biggest shock of the first round of Champions League fixtures, beating last season’s finalists Liverpool 4-1 in a dominant display. Rangers, in contrast barely landed a blow on Ajax in a 4-0 loss. The Scottish team has a better record at home in European games, but the superior quality of Napoli should tell.
The Italian team is unbeaten this season, winning 5 of 7 games and scoring 17 goals in the process. Napoli should be able to get the better of Rangers in what may be a high-scoring game.
