Milwaukee Bucks -3 over Indiana Pacers (-112)
Tuesday’s game is a big one for both the Pacers and Bucks, as the 2 teams are separated by just 1 game in the Eastern Conference standings. Milwaukee will be encouraged by their 2-0 lead in the regular-season series, and the most recent game was played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with the Bucks winning 120-112 back in late December. Milwaukee is the more in-form team with 8 wins in 11 games, plus on the road they’ve won 4 of their last 5. The absence of Bobby Portis has been a negative, but Kyle Kuzma has been able to fill the void left behind offensively. The three-point shooting has been a letdown in the back-to-back losses against Orlando and Cleveland, but things should improve against the Pacers tonight.
Indiana just played last night and lost to the lowly Chicago Bulls. One of the issues the Pacers have had during this 3-game losing streak comes in the rebounding department. For the season they rank just 22nd in opponent rebounds per game, and that number has increased to 57.3 per game during the losing streak. For comparison, the league-worst Wizards are allowing 56.7 per game this season. With the 4th seed potentially on the line I think we’ll see the best out of the Greek Freak here. Give me the Bucks to cover on the road.

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 44.5 points+rebounds (-112)
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s numbers are off the charts in recent games against the Pacers. The last 10 meetings have seen him average 38.2 points and 12.5 rebounds, which puts us well over the line we need to clear here. According to the injury report, Giannis is currently dealing with a minor calf issue, but that hasn’t stopped him from putting up 30.8 points and 11.2 rebounds per game in March.
One of Indiana’s big weaknesses on defense this season is their lack of paint protection. They’re allowing 51.9 points per game from up close, which is the 3rd-worst mark in the NBA. In these last 3 games, they’ve given up 66.7 per game from inside the paint against the Bulls and Hawks (twice). I think we can all agree that Milwaukee is a far greater threat to score on the inside than both of those teams. Expect Giannis to attack early and often here, as he clears this line for the 3rd time in 4 games.
Tyrese Haliburton to record 10+ assists (+102)
All hopes of getting a result for Indiana lie in the hands of Tyrese Haliburton here. He has missed the last 3 games, but according to the latest report, there is a high chance he returns to the lineup tonight with his hip injury healing. In his 8 games before the injury, he was averaging 23.4 points and 11.4 assists per game, clearing this line in 6 straight games.
Similarly to Giannis, Haliburton is also posting solid numbers in head-to-head meetings against the Bucks. The last 8 games have seen him average 9 assists per game and he flourished in last season’s Eastern Conference 1st-round 4-2 upset win for Indiana. This is one of the games where we will see how much the Bucks miss Bobby Portis. His length would definitely come in handy here against Haliburton on the defensive end and I’m not convinced Kuzma is as good of a defender as Portis is. Everything starts and ends with Haliburton for the Pacers, so let’s hope he can put together a solid game here.
