With as much as 6 feet of snow expected to hit the Buffalo area this weekend, we appeared to be set for our first snow game of the season at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s, with winds expected to hit approximately 20mph.
However, the NFL has now moved Sunday’s game to Detroit’s Ford Field, given the severity of the forecast. This stadium houses the Lions and would allow the Bills to remain in Detroit until their meeting on Thanksgiving Day.

NFL Week 11 odds shift for Cleveland Browns vs Buffalo Bills
Naturally, the betting market swiftly reacted to this news and both the spread and total have moved dramatically. The Bills (6-3) were 7.5-point favorites at most sportsbooks, but that immediately jumped to -9.5 upon news of the change in venue.
The bigger story is the total, which had crashed down to 41 on Wednesday. Bettors had been hammering this total hard all week, with the vast majority of the tickets and money coming in on the under. As news broke that the game had been relocated to Detroit, the total reopened as high at 49.5 at some sportsbooks.

Will all wagers on Cleveland Browns vs Buffalo Bills be canceled?
As the game has been relocated to an alternate site, all previously held bets could be voided depending on the house rules of each sportsbook. For example, at FanDuel Sportsbook any postponed games are “void unless played within the same scheduling week. In the event of a change of venue, all bets will be void.” That same policy applies to Caesars Sportsbook and Bet MGM, among others.
However, DraftKings is a bit of an outlier compared to their competitors. DraftKings’ house rules state: “if a game venue is changed, and the home team remains designated as such, all bets will stand.” These conditions are most similar to that of PointsBet, as that sportsbook only voids wagers on “postponed games that are not played within 48 hours of the original date.” This means that as long as the game runs on time, PointsBet will honor the wager.
In this situation, it’s essential for bettors wagering on this game to check each sportsbook’s rules surrounding this issue. As of now, the game is still scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
