Best Travis Kelce Prop Bet Predictions & Picks for Week 4 vs. the New York Jets
Kelce to score a touchdown (-130)
Kelce scored a touchdown with Swift in the suite at Arrowhead Stadium last Sunday, when Kansas City crushed Chicago. I see no reason to think that the Jets will be able to keep him from scoring this week. It’s primetime, it’s New York and the word on the street is that Swift will once again be in attendance. Patrick Mahomes admittedly focused on getting Kelce the football in Week 3; don’t expect anything different this time. Beyond the Swift effect, dating back to last season’s playoffs Kelce has scored a TD in 5 straight games and during this stretch has scored a total of 6 TDs. It should also be noted that the Jets are allowing the third-most fantasy points to tight ends so far in 2023 (including 3 touchdowns). Asking Kelce to score just once on Sunday doesn’t seem like too much at all. I also like him to be the first touchdown scorer at +450 odds.
Kelce Over 71.5 receiving yards (-114)
With what you can only assume is plenty of casual bettors hammering Kelce’s overs given the current climate, it would make sense if his totals — such as for receiving yards — were inflated just a bit. However, that isn’t really the case. His quote for Sunday night is 71.5 yards. So far this season his quotas have been 80.5 in Week 2 and 70.5 in Week 3 (he did not play in the opening loss to Detroit). Last year, Kelce was pretty much consistently at 75.5 or above. Since squares haven’t seemed to impact the market, I think value remains on the over at 71.5. As mentioned above, the Jets have been extremely generous when it comes to guarding tight ends. Kelce should be able to capitalize and put on a show or Chiefs fans — and for Swifties…or maybe they are one in the same now….?
