Tennessee Titans best touchdown scorer bet: Derrick Henry (-110)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
It’s rarely fun to back an obvious touchdown-scorer pick, but the Titans simply don’t have many options. With Malik Willis likely in at quarterback, Tennessee is rather limited on offense, especially in the passing game. This leaves most of the grunt work to Henry at the running back position, and he’s delivered thus far. The Titans’ lead back is averaging 4.5 yards per carry this season and has been especially productive in the red zone, tallying 7 touchdowns over the last 6 games. Kansas City has an average run defense and while I expect the Chiefs to contain Willis at quarterback, Henry should still see success against the Chiefs. Regardless of game script or if it ends up being a blowout, the Titans should feed Henry early and often in this one. I expect him to find the end zone once again.

Kansas City Chiefs best touchdown scorer bet: Travis Kelce (-125)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Unlike the Titans, the are plenty of options on offense for the Chiefs. However, the connection between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce can’t be ignored. It’s been another fantastic season for Kelce as the league’s top tight end has tallied at least 4 receptions in each game to go along with 11.8 yards per catch. Kelce is still Mahomes’ favorite target in the red zone, scoring 7 touchdowns in as many games this season. Tennessee’s defensive strength is against the run, ranking 2nd in the NFL in rushing defense. The Titans also have surrendered only 1 rushing touchdown this season, meaning the Chiefs will need to do damage through the air. Tennessee has mediocre numbers defending tight ends this season, so I expect Kelce to be targeted numerous times in this contest.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer FAQs
What does “anytime touchdown scorer” mean?
Anytime touchdown scorer is a popular player prop bet that NFL bettors can wager on throughout the season. But what is it, and how do you win?
As the name suggests, placing a wager on the anytime touchdown scorer market is when you tip a particular player to score a touchdown during a game. This can be a rushing or receiving touchdown for an offensive player, or you can wager on a team’s defense/special teams to score a touchdown by interception return and fumble return or kickoff and punt returns.
If your player or defense scores a touchdown, you win! The odds will differ from player-to-player depending on the sportsbooks’ calculated probability of that player scoring.
Does anytime touchdown scorer include passing touchdowns?
Not for a quarterback, no. A player must get into the endzone, himself, in order to qualify as an anytime touchdown scorer. If a quarterback throws a touchdown pass, only the player who caught it counts as the scorer. If Joe Burrow throws a touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase, wagers placed on Evans as an anytime touchdown scorer will cash. However, those placed on Rodgers as an anytime touchdown scorer will not (unless he also runs for a TD). See below for more on what the anytime touchdown scorer market means for quarterbacks.
What does anytime touchdown scorer mean for a QB?
For a wager on a QB to be an anytime touchdown scorer to cash, he must follow the same rules as a running back, tight end, or receiver. He must get into the end zone himself, either as a runner or a pass-catcher.
In the age of the mobile quarterback, QBs such as Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray are often seen rushing in for a touchdown on any given Sunday. And don’t forget the occasional Philly Special, either. QBs can sometimes catch passes for TDs, too.
