This prop will focus on a few of the heavy hitters for the Cardinals. We will need either Nolan Arenado or Paul Goldschmidt to hit a home run. Combined these guys went for 65 home runs during the regular season, but Goldschmidt only had 1 against the Dodgers, while Arenado had 0. Facing Max Scherzer will make this prop even tougher, as he did not allow a home run to the Cardinals this season. For that reason, this looks to be a prop you should stay away from.
Max Scherzer to record 8+ strikeouts and the Dodgers to win – Boosted from +170 to +230 with FanDuel Sportsbook
Going back to Scherzer and here we will need him to record just 8 strikeouts but will also need the Dodgers to win. As mentioned before, Scherzer has a ton of strikeouts this season–so asking him to have 8 is not too much. We also would lean towards the Dodgers to win comfortably, therefore backing this prop looks to be worth a play.
Over 7.5 runs scored and the Dodgers to win – Boosted from +180 to +220 with FanDuel Sportsbook
This prop will focus on the amount of runs scored, and the Dodgers to win the game. We do like the Dodgers, but with two capable pitchers on the mound our experts would actually look towards the under. For that reason, this looks to be an odds boost best to avoid.
Paul Goldschmidt to record a hit and the Cardinals to win – Boosted from +250 to +275 with PointsBet Sportsbook
Switching our focus to the Cardinals, we will need Goldschmidt to record a hit and the Cardinals to win. While Goldschmidt is 7 for 20 against the Dodgers this season (.350), a Cardinals’ win tonight seems unlikely. For that reason, this is probably an odds boost that is best to avoid.

One more time we will go back to Scherzer and for this prop, we will only need 7 strikeouts. As mentioned in a few other props, we like him to record closer to 10 strikeouts, so this prop looks to be more than worth a play. This prop will also need the Dodgers to win, but again, that is something we believe will happen–thus making this worth a play.
