We have put together a list of Wednesday’s best odds boosts, which today are from DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook. We’ll discuss whether or not they are worth playing.

Nikola Jokic and Jordan Clarkson to combine for 50+ points – Boosted from +180 to +205 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Can Nikola Jokic and Jordan Clarkson both go off in the Denver Nuggets vs Utah Jazz game? Utah is dealing with injuries to Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Joe Ingles, which means Clarkson has to shoulder a lot of the scoring load. With Gobert sidelined, the Jazz are going to have a tough time containing Jokic. In fact, Denver’s big man scoring 30+ points is one of the legs in our Nuggets-Jazz same game parlay. All things considered, this is an odds boost worth taking.

Ja Morant and RJ Barrett both to record 25+ points – Boosted from +370 to +450 with DraftKings Sportsbook

This is pretty much a question of whether or not Barrett can reach the 25-point mark when the New York Knicks host the Memphis Grizzlies. After all, Morant has reached it on 8 consecutive occasions. In fact, he has scored at least 30 points 7 straight times. Barrett, however, has been held below the 25 number in 4 consecutive contests and in 7 of the last 8. Memphis generally plays at a fast pace, but New York plays at the slowest pace in the NBA in terms of possessions per game. In general opportunities for big points are few and far between when the Knicks take the court. This boost probably isn’t big enough to be worth biting on.

Connor McDavid to record 3+ points – Boosted from +350 to +425 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Our NHL expert is backing the Washington Capitals in their home game against the Edmonton Oilers, which implies that Washington should be able to at least somewhat contain Connor McDavid. Edmonton’s star center has not reached the 3-point mark in any game since December 1, a span of 19 contests. There is no reason to think he is suddenly going to go off against a Washington team that has allowed an average of just 2 goals per game over its past 5 outings. The advice is to not take the bait on this McDavid prop.

Islanders, Capitals, and Kings all to win – Boosted from +390 to +500 with FanDuel Sportsbook

Can teams from New York, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles all get the job tonight? If so, the payout would be +500 instead of +390 at FanDuel Sportsbook. Our NHL experts are backing all 3 to win, so this is a boost worth grabbing. The Islanders (vs Seattle) are coming off a 4-1 victory over Ottawa, the Capitals (vs Edmonton) are on a 2-game winning streak, and the Kings (vs Detroit) have taken points in 5 consecutive contests.
