With a win on Monday, the Atlanta Braves are 1 game away from advancing to the NLCS. Offense has been a premium in this series, and Joc Pederson has been one of the main contributors. As for Austin Riley, we will need him to hit a home run this evening. Riley has a couple of hits in the series, but the Brewers’ pitching has been too strong for the most part. For that reason, avoiding this prop looks to be the best option.

The Seattle Kraken will play their first ever regular-season game tonight and it will be against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Golden Knights will have Robin Lehner in goal after Marc-Andre Fleury moved to Chicago. Lehner was solid last season and should fare well against this expansion team. The Kraken have 5 players out due to COVID protocols, so asking them to score 3 goals in their first game seems to be a bit much. For that reason, it is probably better to stay away from this prop.

Nikita Kucherov to score a goal and Lightning to win – Boosted from +180 to +215 with DraftKings Sportsbook
The first NHL regular season game will see the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Lightning are coming off back-to-back Stanley Cup wins and will unveil their banner tonight. Nikita Kucherov was a huge part of that team last season and should be poised to start this season with a bang. We already like the Lightning to win and the fact that Pittsburgh has several of their best players missing makes a Kucherov goal more likely. For that reason, this prop looks to be worth a play.
