This prop is similar to the one above, but Ja Morant needs to score only 25 points, and Anthony Edwards has to do the same. Edwards ended up scoring 36 points in the Game 1 win and Minnesota will need a similar performance if they are going to take control of this series. Neither team looked to have an answer defensively for either of these players, so backing a big performance from both of them is worth a play.
Jose Altuve and Shohei Ohtani to each record 1+ hits – Boosted from +145 to +170 with FanDuel Sportsbook
For this prop, we need Jose Altuve and Shohei Ohtani to each record at least 1 hit. Both of these guys have had their struggles at the plate to start the season. Ohtani is batting .234 , while Altuve is at .167. Altuve has 2 hits in 16 plate appearances against the Angels this season, but Ohtani is also pitching and is struggling, so Altuve should be able to find some success.
Ohtani has 3 hits in 20 plate appearances against the Astros, but could launch a home run on any given pitch. Even though both guys are struggling to find hits, they are both too good to stay in a slump. For that reason, backing this prop is worth a small play.
