The Home Run Derby was electric last night, and there is no reason that we should not expect at least this many home runs in the game. Despite the elite pitching that these batters will face, there is too much power on both sides to believe a couple guys will not go deep. At this price, this odds boost looks to be a very solid play. 15+ total runs scored in the 2021 All-Star game (Boosted to +320), FanDuel Sportsbook
All-Star games tend to be high-scoring in any sport and the fact that they are in Colorado could lead to that trend tonight as well. However, we have so many elite pitching threats that expecting this many runs might be too much to ask. Jacob deGrom is not even playing in the All-Star game, but Max Scherzer will start for the National League, and that should be enough to keep the American League at bay for the start of the game. Shohei Ohtani will start for the American League and he also has what it takes to shut down the National League at least for a few innings. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas to both finish top 10 (Boosted to +800), PointsBet Sportsbook
The British Open Championship starts on Thursday and here we are looking at two guys who will need to finish in the top 10. Jordan Spieth has been very solid this season and has eight top-ten finishes. He already has a win in the Open Championship in his career and tends to play well in these events.
Justin Thomas is another guy who is having a great season. He has five top tens and most recently finished sixth at the Scottish Open. Both of these guys could be near the top of the leaderboard on Sunday. For that reason, I would consider this odds boost as a small play.
