For this prop, we will need the Texas Rangers to beat the Houston Astros and there will need to be under 8.5 runs in the game. Our experts do like the under in this game given the pitching matchup of Martin Perez against Jose Urquidy. However, the Astros’ lineup has been much too strong to fade, even against the Texas ‘ace’. Especially with the Houston acquisition of Trey Mancini, it only makes their lineup that much stronger and that much more potent. He’s already been great for the Astros, and his .819 OPS against Perez should help Houston take down the lefty. For that reason, avoiding this prop looks to be the safest option.
