There are only a few sports taking place today including one MLS game and a big MLB baseball card. There are still a few promotions and boosts on offer from sportsbooks, but which ones should you look to capitalize on?
We’ve put together a list of all of the day’s best boosts, which happen to be from DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and PointsBet Sportsbook, and whether they are worth playing. Let’s dive in.
Tigers to score 8+ runs (Boosted to +710), DraftKings Sportsbook
Asking the Detroit Tigers to score eight or more runs in pretty much any game is hard to do and while they do get the offense rolling sometimes, facing Kenta Maeda and the Twins does not give me much confidence that they can score that many tonight. Yes, Maeda has struggled this year, but his 3.29 ERA at home suggests he could have at least a decent outing. Again, eight runs is too much to ask for an offense that already has their struggles, so even at this price, I would look to avoid this odds boost. White Sox and Red Sox both to win (Boosted to +240), DraftKings Sportsbook
We will need two MLB teams to win tonight for this boost to pay off and they both have decent matchups. At least for the White Sox, who will be playing the Orioles. Our experts like the White Sox tonight, as they will be facing Jorge Lopez. The Red Sox, on the other hand, are facing the Phillies and Vince Velasquez. Boston will start Garrett Richards, who has really struggled at Fenway this season. We do not love backing Velasquez, however Ricards has been inconsistent. For that reason, this may be an odds boost it’s best to avoid.

Max Griffin and Tai Tuivasa both to win (Boosted to +190), DraftKings Sportsbook
UFC 264 is not until Saturday, but you can still take advantage of some nice odds boosts early. This one is very intriguing as we need both Max Griffin and Tai Tuivasa to win their fights. Griffin will be fighting Carlos Condit and Tuivasa will be tackling Greg Hardy. Our experts actually like both of these guys to win due to their striking ability, making this parlay worth a play. Sean O’Malley to win in round 1 vs. Kris Moutinho (Boosted to +150), FanDuel Sportsbook
Another early UFC odds boost here as a quick finish is expected between Sean O’Malley and Kris Moutinho. Given that O’Malley is such a huge favorite and given he has plenty of first-round finishes, our expert also likes him to win in the first round. Moutinho is new to the UFC and likely will not be able to handle the volume from O’Malley. For that reason, I like this odds boost and believe it is worth a small play. Shohei Ohtani 1+ RBI and the Angels to win (Boosted to +200), PointsBet Sportsbook
Shohei Ohtani continues to rack up just about every stat you can this season, including another home run on Wednesday night. Here we will need him to record one RBI and for his team to win the game.
