49ers vs Seahawks anytime touchdown scorer pick: George Kittle (+175)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Brock Purdy peppered George Kittle with redzone targets last week. His four targets in the redzone were tied with Garrett Wilson and Zach Ertz for the most in Week 5. We turn to Week 6, where Kittle and the 49ers, off a short week, head to Seattle as 3.5-point favorites after the Seahawks lost to the Giants at home in Week 5.

Kittle has had great success against the Seahawks in the last few years. That includes five touchdowns in his previous four games against the Seahawks. But the Seahawks are under a new regime with a different defense, so we won’t put too much stock into that. On the other hand, the Seahawks rank just outside the top 10 in targets allowed to the tight end position. We’ll ride with Kittle at +175, where DraftKings is down to +140.

49ers vs Seahawks anytime touchdown scorer pick: DK Metcalf (+150)

Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

Much like Kittle, DK Metcalf enjoys this divisional battle against the 49ers. He has had three touchdowns over the last two seasons, all with cornerback Charvarius Ward active. Metcalf has the tools of a star wide receiver. He ranks in the top 10 in air yards this season, and his 11.7 aDOT leads all Seahawks receivers. As 3.5-point home underdogs and a Geno Smith passing attempts line at 36.6, I’d expect much of that work to go to Metcalf – especially in the redzone.
