Troy Terry over 2.5 shots (+110)
Troy Terry and the Anaheim Ducks have been 2 of the biggest surprises of the season. In previous years, the Ducks have been a bottom 5 team in the league in terms of offensive skill and usually find themselves being a lottery team for the entry level draft. With the break out year Terry is having, along with some rookies on the roster, the Ducks are relevant again and have a legit shot at making the playoffs this year. Terry is leading the way for this team, as he has 28 points in 29 games. We like Terry to record over 2.5 shots tonight for a couple of reasons.
He’s coming off a 2-goal game a few nights ago and should be playing with some confidence tonight. In his last 3 games, he’s recorded 4 or more shots. He’s been shooting the puck a lot more in recent games and has been nearly doubling his season average. The value at +110 provides bettors with great odds considering how he’s played in the last week. In his last 3 games, he’s been playing 18 or more minutes, which has allowed him more chances in the offensive zone. If Terry can continue playing with some confidence, over 2.5 shots should come easy.
The Ducks face the Seattle Kraken tonight, and they are a team that has allowed the fourth most goals per game in the league. Terry and the rest of Anaheim’s roster should be trying their best to get pucks on net, as statistically, they’re bound to go in. Terry has a shooting percentage of 24.6 percent. He should be shooting every chance he gets, and it worked well for him last game. Take Terry to record over 2.5 shots tonight.
