Connor McDavid is a generational talent and arguably the best player in the NHL today. He is currently tied for the lead in points with fellow teammate, Leon Draisaitl, with 79 points on the season, and currently ranks 10th in the league in goals with 29.
However, he finds his team currently out of a playoff spot with up to 5 of the top 15 goal scorers on the Oilers potentially out with injury on Wednesday. With that much firepower out of the lineup, he will need to step up his game and score to make sure the Oilers stay in the playoff race and break this mini slump he is in, as he’s only scored 1 goal in his last 5 games. McDavid has too much talent and too much to play for, for him not to score, so place your bet on McDavid over 0.5 goals.

J.T. Miller over 0.5 goals (+210)
The rumors of J.T. Miller being traded haven’t seemed to affect his play, as he has 4 goals in his last 5 games. This streak is no fluke either, as he leads the Canucks in goals on the season.
Miller’s Canucks will be playing the Canadiens on Wednesday, the last place team in the Eastern Conference. On top of the standings, the Canadiens are one of the worst defensive teams, ranking 31st in expected goals against and last in goals against per game. With Miller on the top line and top powerplay unit, he will see plenty of opportunities to score against this bad defensive Canadiens team, so place your bet on Miller over 0.5 goals.
