Chandler Stephenson over 0.5 points (-133)
After missing one game, Chandler Stephenson recorded 4 assists in his first game back on Sunday. He currently leads the Knights with 26 points in 26 games and has been playing some impressive hockey this season, especially for a relatively unknown name. He’s centering Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone, 2 of the best wingers in the league. Stone had missed 12 games and Pacioretty had missed 17 games, but Stephenson still remained a point per game player. Now that they’re both back, his life has gotten a whole lot easier. Points are coming more naturally for Vegas’ top line, and they’ll be looking to continue with that tonight against Boston.
The Knights have no shortage of offensive talent. They are generating the fourth most goals per game in the entire league. Unfortunately for Vegas, they’ve had some spotty goaltending, which means if they go down in this game they’ll need to be playing catchup, which is good news for bettors. If the Bruins take an early lead, that just means more minutes for the top line on the Knights to produce more offensive chances. Stephenson has been playing just under 20 minutes a night, and if he can play a longer game tonight he’s bound to record a point. Take Stephenson to get over 0.5 points.

Auston Matthews over 0.5 goals (+100)
Auston Matthews will square off against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers for the first time this season. This has been a game that both Oilers and Leafs fans have had circled on their calendar, and we should expect some fireworks tonight. In 13 career games against the Oilers, Matthews has recorded 8 goals. He seems to enjoy playing against McDavid, and has been able to show up in the big moments against the Oilers. The Leafs have won 9 of the 13 meetings throughout the players’ careers, and a big reason for that is Matthews’ contributions on both ends of the ice. Expect a good game out of him tonight.
This season, Matthews has 18 goals in 26 games and has found himself back in the conversation for the Rocket Richard trophy. In his last 9 games, he’s recorded 11 goals. In addition, he has found the back of the net in 7 of his last 9 games. He’s been on an absolute roll and that should continue tonight. Matthews is expected to play with Michael Bunting and Ondrej Kase, 2 players that complement his game very well. They are both skilled puck retrievers who play a physical game and win puck battles. Without Mitch Marner on his wing tonight, Matthews will control most of the play for his line. He should have more touches and more shots. Take Matthews to record a goal tonight.
