Nick Schmaltz over 0.5 points (-125)

Nick Schmaltz is coming fresh off of a 7-point night. It’s the most points scored by any Coyote in franchise history. It was a night for the record books, and Schmaltz will be looking for another offensive night this evening. It’s highly unlikely he has a repeat performance — he probably won’t have another night like that again — but at -125 bettors are getting great odds for Schmaltz to record over 0.5 points. He has 33 points in 36 games heading into tonight.

He’s a skilled offensive player and has recorded at least 1 point in 5 of his last 6 games. The Coyotes are playing the Detroit Red Wings tonight, which is good news for bettors. The Red Wings are currently on a 2-game losing streak and have allowed the 3rd-most goals per game with 3.61. This isn’t a great defensive team, take Schmaltz to record over 0.5 points tonight.

Jason Robertson over 0.5 goals (+145)

Jason Robertson is coming off of back-to-back hat-tricks. This was the first time it was done since 2017. Robertson is a special talent who has a knack for scoring goals. While we aren’t expecting him to record another hat-trick here tonight, him recording another goal wouldn’t be out of character. He has 29 goals in 47 games and has scored at least 1 goal in 4 of his last 5 games. He’s extremely consistent, and at +145, bettors should continue to ride the hot hand. In 6 of his last 7 games, he’s recorded 4 or more shots on goal.

He’s the primary shooting option for the Stars and has shown why over the last two games. Robertson is slowly becoming a superstar in the league and is arguably the best player on the Stars, who are loaded with talent. Take Robertson to record 0.5 goals tonight.
